One of the best villains? I hope you're talking about Klaw, who was wasted in BP. Because Killmonger was pedestrian by MCU standards and as a character, boring, cliched and one-dimensional. The guy doesn't even crack the top ten. MCU Villains Here are some off the top of my head that I think were better than Killmonger: Thanos Red Skull Winter Soldier Abomination Iron Monger Loki Hela Vulture Kaecilius Ultron
Personally for me the ranking is as follows: The Elite 1. Captain America - The Winter Solder 2. Avengers - Infinity War 3. Guardians of the Galaxy 4. Avengers 5. Captain America - Civil War ________________________________ Outstanding but not quite Elite 6. Captain America 7. Thor - Ragnorak 8. Dr Strange 9. Black Panther 10. Iron Man 11. Thor 12. Avengers - Age of Utron 13. Iron Man 3 ________________________________ Enjoyable but not great 14. Aunt Man 15. Auntman and Wasp 16. Guardians of the Galaxy 2 17. Iron Man 2 18. Spider Man - The Homecoming __________________________________ OK but nothing to brag about 19. Thor - Dark World _________________________________ I would not pay to see the sequel. Certainly the worst of all Avenger movies 20. Captain Marvel
Saw Captain Marvel last night. My initial reaction was to say that I enjoyed it, but, refldcting back on it, there was just too much stupid stuff in it. 4.5 / 10 The was a *slight* element of femenism, but not much, really. It sucked for a multitude of other reasons: large plot holes, small plot holes, inconsistencies, stupid elements that were completely unnecessary, occasionally bad acting, missing story elements, slow pacing in times, rushed pacing in other times, sometimes the music didn't fit the scene, some elements just didn't make sense, and, again, too many items that were just too stupid.
I might've seen this somewhere. Is this about a teenager who gets bit by his hot radioactive aunt, who also happens to be a teacher?
Watch out buddy, in this day and age that gets you classified as a racist!!!! (I agree, it was trash)
You know what is just as lame as people saying you are racist for not liking a movie with black actors. Being the person that points out on a message board. So clever and unique in your observations.
You left our the Hulk movie. I would put Thor Ragnarok in the top tier. It gets constant playtime at my house - great villains, it’s well done, amazing action and outstanding comedy.
I meant the movies with all the characters in tow, where the biggest story lines play out i.e. the Avengers movies (including civil war) kind of deserve their own list. If anyone cares to actually read what I'm saying, I also don't think Black Panther is the best MCU movie but no two lists would be the same. Including box office success, there's probably also some recency bias with BP. A little too much negativity in here about some superhero movies, that's for sure. I also didn't call anyone racist, let that settle in for a second with ya guilty ass consciences.
No, saw it on Netflix. As far as villains in the MCU, Killmonger ranks as one of the tops for me too.
LOL. Im pretty sure, each person that can relate to that post, has been ridiculed as somewhat of a racist for saying a movie sucked or had an opinion of differing views.
Spoiler If the tesseract went down with Capt America in 1945 ... How did it wind up in the 1980s with Capt Marvel?
SPOILER Howard Stark found it under water around the same time they found Cap. It stayed with Shield at that point where it went on to be used by Mar-Vel and then stolen by Loki later on via Janes mentor in Thor
Yeah - at the end of the first Captain America movie, Howard Stark used a submarine to collect the tesseract from the ocean floor.
Perhaps online where people are nuts. In real life I have never heard someone say something dumb like that.
Well, yeah that's where most people post reviews. Just as someone called someone else racist for not liking it, online, is equal to you saying someone pointed the same fact out on a message board. Are you calling yourself a nut?
Villains make movies. That’s why Nolan’s Batman trilogy was top shelf. Killmonger was great, genuinely a threat and sociopathic. MBJordan is always the good guy too so it was a cool heel turn. Thanos is unreal, I don’t recall ever seeing a movie where the bad guy wins. I remember coming home and being blown away for hours after infinity war.
I'm not sure. I am definitely a little nuts though. Between school, work, an 8 year old that I'm the custodial parent of, and his mother crazy is just right around the corner.
Enjoyed it liked it better than first Thor or first Captain America also better than the hulk movies Spoiler: Easter eggs
