I'm not rewriting history, you're just picking an exception as an example. For most first time champions, you don't know they're champions before you start. In most cases, you have to take the risk and BELIEVE before the season starts. You're also ignoring the situation. We're especially not going to beat the Warriors - one of the best teams in history - without spending a ton of money. A more apt example is Dan Gilbert. He spent a ton of money unsure he'd win it all. Even in the season they won it, he lost $15-20m. He spent stupid money on Tristan, JR, etc. Because he couldn't risk losing pieces. All the consequences of that spending was worth 1 ring to him, and it would be to anyone except a cheapskate. Rockets have a bigger market than Cleveland. IF we won, it would cover a gigantic LT bill. IF we were smart like the Warriors, we would convert that wave of interest into a long-term membership strategy. P.S. On KD, why add him when your team won 1, then won 73 games and lost to a miraculous effort in 7 games, especially with every single key player in the beginning of their primes? Tilman would not have done it. He would have fished for excellent minimum FA's who want a ring. That's the kind of guy he is. Small thinker.
Lmao ps you add him cause one he took less money..n 2 with him u gonna win 100 percent. U do know if u win u make up any money u might have to pay in taxes but ticket sales n merchandise right. Look what u just said. The year the lost.....when green got ejected. U think they lose same situation but with kd lol. That's why u do it. Ur buying a chip u know that's future proof. N with the Cavs what are u talking bout. That's lbj the best player in the league for like 8 9 years who with him history had should u 90 percent sure you getting to a finals bro. Thata not a risk. I keep telling u if kd would sign here tilman would 100 percent pay anything that's a for sure ship. Just like if lbj came her last year he would be happy to pay.
Bogut collects and invests in old cars - classy, smart, and lead to happiness NBA players collects and invests in jewelry - trashy, dumb, and doesn't lead to happiness LOL
Exactly. Fyi im James harden biggest fan. But he not the best player in the league. N thts not disrespect cause he pretty high up there just not the best. That k.d.
I love the game more then any one player. I appreciate the game n give credit where it is deserved. James is the mvp tho
I am not in awe of the Aussie league but I was surprised to see an entirely washed up player win both MVP and DPOY in one season, even in a lesser league. They have some talents down under. Likely can still get to 8-14 minutes per game.
Yep I smell blood. They know like everybody else does its problems boogie finna implode once u tell him a washed up player finna take ur playing time in ur contract year....yikes this finna get delicious. Oh n fyi. Bogut wont help the league has changed since he left. He finna get roasted too lmao
Yawn. https://www.cnbc.com/2018/05/14/money-lessons-learned-from-pro-athletes-financial-fouls.html Dangerous keeping up with the Joneses culture never has an end.
Today’s game was exactly what I meant. Cousins made capella look out of place In some plays, out rebounded him, etc. Also. Klays. “... last time I played with someone like that was with bogut and he is coming back”. He was referring to the passing in the post and being able to cut. They have three good post passers now, cousins, bogut, green. Some people aren’t afraid of the bogut pick up but i believe it will have a bigger impact, even if some think he is washed up.
I have to chuckle a bit because there's obviously some bookmarking on your part to go back to a comment I made 9 days ago, waited until last night's game was played, and respond back to me. Since that time the Rockets went 4-0 and Capela played fairly well. Was it a good performance by Clint last night? No, not by what we've seen his potential can be and the struggle wasn't due to going up tougher defenders as you alluded toyour original post. If we're going to pivot from the original statement of him struggling against tough defenders to now struggling against big men that can pass, sure, we can do that.
