I think they will deal with Chicago, and it will be Curry and Heinrich and contract for Francis. A Francis/Cato package for Curry/Heinrich/ERob/JYD makes good sense for both.

    1. It's the place Francis can succeed. He'd sell tickets. He'd have Crawford in the backcourt (another big combo guard he needs to play his combo game), AD and Chandler up front. He might even have Pippen to help move the ball. He'd compete with Starbury for press and pub head-to-head, NY v. Chi. Put Cato in the deal and that solidifies the frontcourt and back. The team would be strong and exciting. Steve would command the star role.

    2. Chicago knows they need to make a move, and time's running out on the baby bulls. They are all looking at the next contract, and Chicago has to capitalize on the asset value now. Keeping Crawford will be cheaper than keeping Curry.

    3. JVG is president of the Heinrich fan club. He says exactly what he thinks, and he says he wants Heinrich. He says the 4 and 5 are interchangeable. Curry is thus a very good 4, and a great complement to Yao's skill set.

    4. Steve is pressing our hand, and he will be worth less as he turns up the heat. When the feud gets ugly, it's going to be harder to place him. He'll lose some of his fan appeal.

That's just me thinking in print right now. Could Paxon/Skiles handle Stevie Franchise and J. Crawford gunning, even if it leads to more victories? That's the hardest part of the deal to guess.

I think that would work out for both teams. I'd like to get a 1st round pick this year and draft a legit 4 Okafur.

    IMHO, no.

    Skiles with Jason Kidd = 91 - 53
    Skiles with Stephon Marbury = 25 - 26

why eddy curry? why not kwame brown, who has been doing better recently in the past few weeks, and we can send steve back home for the 2001 #1 pick. that way we have a young team and two budding #1 picks, both of which will have max contracts kicking in one year after the other   :facethrowingupandeatingthepukeagainandthrowingupagain....:

Saying this in my Woodie Page voice from PTI

Must I be the bolony in your ham sandwich. This is proff that Jay Marrioti dont know what he talking about. 1st Stevie Francsis is one of the top 5 best point guards in the league though he's struggling this season. 2nd Im good friends with Riched Justice of the Houston Post and he's a good guy he says no trade will e accepted for Francis. Then why would the Rockets want Curry when they got the Great Wall Yao Ming. This wounld me cra

    Then he gets mutes

    LOL notafaker!!!!!!

Steve is a top 5er, but his assist to turnover ratio is in the bottom 5 and this is how we gage starting points. The fact that his numbers are down this year are an indication of a new system and his funk. But, his assist to turnover ratio is horrible!!!!! This is huge a can easily translate to 6-12 points against us every night. Imagine if Steve has an assist ratio at 3;1 or even 2:1 instead of 1:1....

Bottomline; he is careless with the ball and teams with carelessness like this do not win championships and this has been is mark since he came into the league.
