Russell Westbrook tells fan: "I'll f*ck you up, you and your wife"

I’m glad jazzhole fans are getting exposed on a national level.

 

Jazz fans get no benefit of the doubt. Racist until proven innocent.

 

This is what we issue if fans get too unruly... security guards are instructed to be friendly but assertive when dealing with fans, and there are baseline expectations no how much you paid for seats. We are also instructed to keep an eye on players and coaches if they seem to lose their cool.

 

Daughter had a rare eye cancer so he opted out of his contract with the Jazz for family/medical issues. He later got picked up by the Lakers because his daughter was being treated somewhere in the SoCal area so it made sense. Duirng the Lakers/Jazz series, they chanted "Cancer" whenever he'd be at the FT line. Some particular douche fans even made gestures pointing at their eye. Classless as hell cause he helped that same Jazz team the year before in the playoff. He gave their team a lot but these idiotic Jazz fans will always be losers. Utah folks are a disgrace to the whole country.

heres the whole story..

His daughter really had cancer. She was losing/lost her eye but Fisher and his family flew out of NYC to Utah during a western conference semi finals game. His plane landed in the middle of the game and he dressed up and showed up in the second half. Even hit the game winner if I remember.

In the offseason he asked Utah to trade him to a city with specific eye specialists. I think the Jazz bought out his contract then he signed with the lakers. When the Lakers would play in Utah, the usual Jazzhole fans would cover up one eye to make fun of his daughter when he was shooting free throws.

 

Im no body language expert but the guy is clearly lying. If his wife was interviewed and defended him it would be more convincing. But I guess she didnt want to lie in TV.

Fans think they can talk **** to the players with personal stuff but NBA players are humans too. When they reply back the fans play victims. Jazz fans are the worst imbreds of the NBA

 

Thanks for the story. The reddit post I read claims that Salt Lake City has the best cancer center(I always thought MD Anderson was the best), so Fisher wanting to have her daughter treated in LA/NYC was definitely a bait.

Also, what did Fisher do in order to be bought out by the Rockets? There is a consensus in Chinese Rocket's forum that he claimed he wanted to retire so he was bought out, but I can't find related English source.

If I were being paid 35 million dollars I think I could contain myself..the same way every other player in the league does.

 

I've seen Utah's classless fanbase first hand as well. I had food thrown at me a few different times in one game.

 

They are both at fault and should be punished. The player should pay a fine and the fan should be blacklisted.

Westbrook says theres no protection for the players? Isnt that what security is for?
And sorry but some amount of verbal abuse comes with the territory. They arent being paid to be just athletes but entertainers.

Lot of woofing, Russell acting tough and it's funny. That being said, Jazz fans and that guy in particular has been proven to say racist things so for Russell to go after him is justified.

 

Shane, is that you? It was more than 10 years ago, I can see LA/NYC having a better eye cancer specialists back then.

 

The Jazz have always had some messed up fans. This has been known since the 90's. Crazy that it is just now getting out. Honestly if this continues the League needs to step in and give an ultimatum to the owners. Clean this up or move the team out of Utah! I really hope Houston fans can learn from this and not have a repeat of what happened last season when the Warriors came to town. I still can't believe how some of our fans treated a pregnant Mrs. Curry.
