As mentioned in the Lin thread, it seems like there are a lot of Lin fans who are Toronto fans. They all seem very happy that Lin is on the team and have no problems with Lin fans on their forums.

Because on the forum lots of Toronto fans posted notes about how happy they were that Lin is on the team, and new Lin fans posting on the forums aren’t confronted by Toronto fans complaining about it. And fwiw, Lin has said that over the years, he’s felt like playing in Toronto has felt like playing home games because he has so many fans there.
It's harder to shoot 3s in Canada because of the metric system. Takes American players a while to adjust.
