out of Leslie's arse. For 10 years I have not seen a single criticism leveled agains the b*stard. (I can't believe how tolerant Texans are with somebody who has declared a war on beef) The point in case: Chronicle runs a nice blurp on Antonio Daniels (http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/ssistory.mpl/sports/bk/bkn/2392880), and neglect to mention that we could have had the guy, had Leslie was not such a Cheap b*stard. Enough with the brownnosing. Why is it so easy to rip Steve Francis, yet it's difficult to point the finger at why the only backup we have for him is a 100-year old joke. NBA season is a marathon and the Rockets are running it with a six-man rotation. Not signing Posey and AD is going to bite us!
maybe I missed it on the first go round...but would you care to share the proof that it is Les' fault we didnt get AD? I dont remember hearing anything but a rumor...but if you got proof..I would be most appreciative.
His agent went out and said in the press that AD is very interested in Houston but the $$$ must make sense.
and I ask once again... Where is the proof that it is Les's fault we didnt get him? Im not defending anyone...but how is this accusation anything more than your supposition? I have this thing where I need to see proof before I crucify someone...Im funny that way.
Agreed. AD has played one solid month of basketball in Seattle, where lets face- it ain't that hard to get assists. Oh, lets see, let me pass it to Ray Allen. Okay, he's hit too many, now lets give it to Flip Murray. Damn, I've neglected Shard. He's pissed. Lets let him have the ball and score some points. See my point. One good month does not make a career. Kayman, if the Rox had signed him, I guarantee that you and all the other haters on this board would have called for his head well before his recent string of good games had ever started. Have you started running out of complaints against all the players that now we must criticize the owner???
Well we all wish we had Mark Cuban as an owner, but really, how many other owners do fans even know by name? The Maloof brothers? Maybe Dolan? Oh, Donald Sterling for all the wrong reasons! Very rarely do you hear mention of most team owners. That's because there are no more than three or four owners in the league that spend money so freely. Dolan would surely be among those few in notoriety if he ever signed the right checks. (though perhaps Isiah Thomas was a step in the right direction there)
