oh, god. Last thing I want is Beverley trying to prove something by guarding Harden. Bring on Pops and his laughable defense sans Kawhi and Green. Or Portland and their dainty, no-layup all-stars..
Good point about Bev. I can imagine him taking out Harden's knee as he's doing his pre-game stanchion routine.
“MRI? Hey hey that sounds expensive. I’m not paying for that. Do you know how many hotdogs I have sell to pay for that? I don’t pay James to rest. I already think it is ridiculous that he only has to play 38 of 48 minutes. I’m paying him to rest ten minutes a game.” - Tillman Fertitta
Wait.... I thought players didn’t like Harden... I saw a lot of smiles and joking for a guy players don’t like.
Harden first injured it last Sunday in a win over Boston and aggravated it Friday night in a fall in the first half of a victory over Philadelphia. The win extended Houston's winning streak to a season-high seven games. "Just try to not fall on it," Harden said when asked how he could protect his wrist. "That's the only thing I can do. Keep icing it, keep getting treatment on it. But when you keep falling on it, it keeps aggravating it and it keeps getting worse." Houston's recent surge has the team in third place in the Western Conference behind Golden State and Denver. After Sunday's trip to Dallas, the Rockets play four straight home games, highlighted by a visit from the Warriors on Wednesday night.
He needs to rest. It's too bad we are trying to play for playoff position, plus we know James wants that MVP as well, so he is going to continue playing through it.
This was Hardens worst game of the season. Coincidence ? Considering that he was shooting like ass even before foul trouble was a consideration .... im leaning no. Im so sick of the rockets relying on James to this extent . He was having an awful game and picked up 5 fouls early ... it was a perfect time to let the rest of the roster step up . But instead we throw him out there for 15 straight minutes at the end of the game . Some teams openly tank . We are openly running our star into the ground
