Not surprised. He looked gun shy in the minutes I saw him play last night. Wondered to myself we he was getting those minutes when he was passing up 3’s.
Every time Gary plays we do well. He may not put up many points but he plays hard and smart. Pulls down boards and makes the other team uncomfortable with his defense. Bad deal.
My guess it’s just to keep Clark’s reps up. We don’t play again until Friday. That kid needs minutes where he can get them.
I bet it’s just to get him some game minutes and confidence. We have 3 days between games; he’ll be back soon.
Wouldn't surprise me. Probably a nice advantage to have a competitive G-League team when trying to pick up the best talent available. Also, agree with the poster above, Faried is probably back. I'm surprised Clark isn't assigned to Vipers more often like we do with Hartenstein.
Good. This means Faried and maybe Shump will be back. Clark needs to go to the Vipers and show some aggression on offense. He's being far too timid with the Rockets. Maybe I'm expecting too much at this point in his career. But, I think he's capable of more than he's doing. He has a rather slow release on his shot, which may be a problem. I'd like to see if he can drive to the basket.
[HouseFans.Net] Or they're trying to let him build chemistry with Danuel House, the Great. [/HouseFans.Net]
