its stupid to shoot 3s even if theyre open when youre up by 20+...its too volatile a shot...

dont go into risky situations where you depend on ref to bail you out when you just know they will swallow the whistle...be smart for gods sake if you pretend to be the MVP

3's are a high efficient shot and the mid range is a low efficient shot so unless you shoot the mid range higher than 50% than it is better to shoot the 3.

 

Was the triple over two players by Harden a travel?

 

Oh come on, I made that mistake years ago and if you know Hubie you know he’s ALWAYS rooting for a competitive game so he always “coaching” the team that’s down back into the game. He does it for us when we get down big in a game so he’s consistent if nothing else.

 

Victory at last! I thought we were going to lose when the Celtics were 8-0 up in the fourth quarter. Fortunately, we had a good lead and played well enough to win.
Morey should sign up House asap. He isn't very talented, but he is physical and tough. We need that badly, when the going gets tough.
These things can't be measured by numbers.

Man, if Eric just plays half of what he played like tonight, then we are really tough to beat.

 

Pretend? He and Tucker were the sole reasons this team won tonight in the fourth and the sole reason we are in the position we are in to contend despite the injuries this team has suffered. Most other teams would have crumbled with the amount of injuries.

Never really felt the game was in jeopardy even in 2nd half.

BS officiating made the game much closer than it should have been.

I didn't like that Gordon, Paul & Rivers went 1 for 2 at the charity line.

Huh? It’s exactly the opposite as far as efficiency is concerned. I think that’s what you meant. The three has more value in volume then a midrange shot so yes a three is worth more at volume but its less effective and a major issue when you go cold so by nature our schematic let’s teams back in games when we go cold.

 

I don't often see evidence of refs repeatedly favoring one team, but there were 6-8 blatant, purposeful no-calls/calls that went against the Rockets in the 2nd half. Refs were OBVIOUSLY trying to help the Celtics get back in the game. Made me furious!

 

youre not thinking efficiently buddy

when youre up by 20 you just need to keeps the scoreboard moving and to stop momentum of the other team...and you take away long rebounds and fast break opportunities for the other team when you avoid the 3...at the end of games when your legs are gone and you are in the panic mode midrange is more efficient a shot
