Trump was a dem supporter for many years before running. The guy is closer to a 90s dem than an actual Republican. He is a NY elite so what do people expect?
I'm pro gun and don't have a problem with background checks. The problem though is gun stores like to charge an arm and a leg to process a transfer. That needs to be addressed. Some people would like to sell their gun through a background check for peace of mind, but not if a dealer wants 50-100 bucks and the gun is only worth a couple hundred.
