While I'm not for extensive use on back to backs, we need to get in a flow as a team, which means the whole crew.

For all the basketball brilliance of MDA, his stubborn favoring players getting rhythm (and respecting players love of the game) over (strategic) rest is inexplicable.

    I mean stupid.

Yeah I understand Mike's thinking here that he wants to get the guys into a groove now that we are healthy .....

But In these last few games CP3 has really brought his game .

He's got a little pop to his step now and the whole unit plays at that pace when he's feeling it .

I think you've got to trust your depth and make it a game without him .

    Harden , green , shumpert , rivers , Gordon

    That's not enough guards ?

    **** .

Why would you be risking this now ?

One game of gaining rhythm and chemistry at the cost increasing the risk for injury ( that would kill us right now in terms of timing )

If we hold CP3 to like 15-20 min vs Miami I could buy it .

Just put him in for a couple of bench unit stretches from like 8 min in the first until 8 min in the second . Two nice little 8 min stretches.

Why risk it? Keep dude fresh. If he goes down again, I'm done. Fire everybody

Should be 2 games where he and James don’t need to play all 4 quarters

Hmmm, if he plays both games he will have tied his longest streak of 13 games played without injury this year. We do need to work on building our team chemistry with all our starters back. I'm more worried about him just staying healthy up to and during the playoffs. The longest he lasted last year was 22 games, and we all know what happened in the playoffs. I hope luck is on Paul's side now, and the knee and hamstring issues don't surface as they have over and over and over. Back to back games just increase those odds I'm afraid. Is the risk worth the reward?

Hopefully we can get a lead and then Austin and Eric can play alongside Harden in the backcourt the rest of the way. If Paul plays under 30 mins each game I'd be ok with it.

[[I'd also be amazed if he played under 30 minutes in each game!!]]
