What we do know is every actual transaction has been more stingy than your typical cost conscious GM. To me actions speak louder than words.
Give the last chance for house with the same contract and sign Zach Randolph for backup. Houston can get champion this year. Both can upgrade the team. Zach is old but he has nene power, at least stronger than Jones. that is what I think. Also he will not request for big contract. I think he can be starter if Faried and Caplea have injuries during player off. He can play power forward and center with 14.5 pts 5 rebounds. It is so amazing. House is good and can replace our 2 to 4 position as backup.
I don't think Morey will do anything with outside FA. We need House but I have my doubts that happens now too.
I think they might convert him or offer him a 2-year with team option for more than the minimum, but not till later next month.
with the way Manimal is playing, you want to bring in a player that would cut into his minutes?!? blasphemous!! (in a stephen A voice)
No, do you remember why Houston lose in game 6 and 7. You should have strong backup for injuries. If you have a player who can play the 3 4 5 position. It will very great. For eg. if cp3 got injuries, we have rivers. How about caplea and mamimal got injuries? We want the champion not the western 2nd rounds or western finals
It is Feb 27. Buyouts have to be done by March 1st. Getting PRETTY LATE right now to see if anyone NEW is going to shake loose. I thought Wilson Chandler might be a candidate, but haven't read anything about LAC buying him out. LAC looks to be gunning for a playoff spot, perhaps they don't want to buy anyone out so that player doesn't go to competition to hurt LAC's playoff chances.
Yeah, I think they can be excited about Chandler, but don't see Doc counting with Luc Mbah a Moute. Too many people ahead of him, and has not played for the whole season. Let's hope his agent is contemplating the buyout possibility. Do you think Chris Paul is talking to him already?
Watch more basketball dude Jeff Green plays hard watch his highlights on cavs and watch him now with wizards
Even if that were true, does that automatically mean Green wouldn't be of value for this team. I think he could be, especially as a bench piece. He fits pretty well actually. Certainly better than the garbage the rockets looked at in the offseason. But regardless he isn't getting bought out of a min contract. I mean your post could say the same thing about Faried and he's been absolutely rock solid since hes been here and made this team better
