Congratulation Windhorst, when they'll investigate Foster you'll be a suspect on betting as well

You mean you aren't intrigued by Max Kellerman's daily hot-takes?

Wait, the guy who said everybody hates Harden now backs the ref that hates Harden? No. I can't believe it.

Why does Windbag look like his face is made of burned cookie dough that a fat kid threw at his pie hole until it stuck all over his face?

Sorry but I just can't take a guy who's never played a game of basketball, or probably any sports for that matter, seriously. Only thing I'd trust him his opinion on is snacks

Guys, I figured it out. He's saying that Foster is a top referee as in a top. So, when he's screwing your team or your best player, he's always on top. He's a power top.

Not really new news. Between them two it's obvious Windhorst ain't the top.

Wow, so Lebron's microphone says something favorable about a referee that helped Lebron out? No way.

He's top ref according to the NBA because he helps advance the teams the NBA wants to advance. My guess is they need a experienced official like Foster because he can take the heat when ppl start catching on. Windhorst is only protecting his client Lebron

Just to get some clarity. Are we 6-6 when Foster reffed the rockets game or 0-6?
There was a post from espn saying 6-6 and then there's a lot of peeps saying it was wrong and it was 0-6 and in the Jump Nicole is saying it's 6-6?
Is this straight up bs info from their end?

Here's the thing: Donaghy was also a "top rated" ref in terms of the calls he made as well.

Here's another thing: Fouls, especially offensive calls, are hard to determine whether or not it was the "right call" to make. Just because a defender runs to a spot outside of the circle to draw a charge doesn't make it a charge 100% of the time because of other factors (timing, movement, flow of the game, etc.). If you're going to follow textbook over the flow of the game then yea Foster, Donaghy and others are probably "rated highly". But Donaghy, based on tape of old games he officiated IIRC, made calls that most of the time wouldn't have been made within the flow of the game in that instance.

Here's another another thing: This is something I noticed when I looked at the games Foster reffed this season and that is the stars (or best player) are whistled more aggressively in those games when compared to the average # of fouls said stars would receive in other games. Lonzo Ball averages like 2 fouls per game this season but has been called for 16 fouls over 3 games when Foster officiated with one game seeing Ball fouling out. In the season opener Ben Simmons was whistled for 5 fouls, which is higher than his average of about 3 fouls per game. One or two additional fouls committed by your star/impact player definitely changes a lot within the game.

With the small sample size of just this season, Foster, to me, appears to try and neutralize the star/impact player as a way to level the playing field by doling out fouls more than what the star player usually sees.
