I have no doubt that the answer that pops into most folks' heads is "Hell no"...And, I'm also pretty sure there are quite a few that question our ability to beat teams in the next tier.

The Rockets have obviously had a lot of adversity to deal with this year...Major injuries injuries to key players, and missed moves/reloading our roster on the fly chief among them.
In spite of all this, it's my belief, that if we're healthy down the stretch...building chemistry/momentum...it can be done. Granted, it's a compressed period of time with little margin for error.

I just think many underestimate how much we have.

With all that said, next year WOULD appear to be easier...

I guess we will find out tonight

    Edit.

Realistically, there might be like a 5-10% chance .

I look at us like how I look at the 16-17 rockets . We have a chance if we get hot .

Because we ain't stopping anyone this year .

Whatever defesive mojo we cultivated (and that is a key word) last season is gone . This year even when we try hard and get a stop we can't secure the rebound .

~25 games isn't enough time to build .... especially if we have any more injuries .

If Gerald Green is getting any kind of significant minutes, the answer to that is an obvious NO.

We already beat them, it depends on how many wins.....4 out of 7.....that is something else.

Depending on injuries, if Steph or Durant is injured, we'd have a better chance. And our players shouldn't be injured.

They dun play lock down Defense for 40 or 48 minutes.

my head says “hell no,” but I’ll always have hope

    1) no HCA
    2) bottom 10 defense
    3) inconsistent role players
    4) team has a tendency to choke big leads

I don’t see how you’re beating GS 4 times out of 7 in the playoffs with a bottom 10 defense.

No, it's really more about assessing the reality of our team.

We have way too many defensive lapses, our offense is inconsistent (we can go on big droughts), our role players are inconsistent, we are small and lack rebounding.

We need perfection to beat the Warriors and I don't think we can play perfect games this year.

The situation at the 3/4 is untenable right now.

I still think this team is the 2nd best out West when healthy and focused, but not getting Morris really hurt. Green is not a playoff caliber rotation player, and Faried is only gonna be good for short bursts as a backup 5.

I don’t give a damn about the playoffs right now...can we first be good in the regular season?

Chris Paul still scares the hell out of me as far as chemistry is concerned

I still can't believe not having Ariza has made this Defense not that good. I hope by March 1st the roster will be officially complete.

The Rockets can’t hold an 18 point lead like 80% of the time, are one of the worst defensive teams in the league, and we’re talking about beating the 2 time champs?

    Come on man...

I think we need to think about the other loaded teams out there....warriors are beatable, would hate the Rockets to beat the Warriors just to loose to Philly, Raptors, or bucks

Not to mention the Blazers and OKC

I’m not sure we can beat the thunder, I think it’s a toss up tbh. Definitely not the warriors, we have to get back to last year's form which means A+ defense and of course, better 3 pt shooting

Not even close; I am still not convinced that they won't drop out of the playoff picture altogether. Harden has had an amazing season. The Rockets haven't. I am a huge fan or I wouldn't be here, but just being real.

No. Not unless we get better wing production which relies heavily on Shumpert and resigning House. Also Gordon needs to stop Sh*tting himself on the court.

    We’re looking at a gentleman’s sweep otherwise.
