Honestly, that was kind of a dirty play by CP3. Surprised he would do something like that on Lebron. Maybe a different angle will show it wasn't as bad, but I didn't see any reason why CP needed to do that.
That wasn't dirty. Dude wasn't even injured and slowmo makes things look so much worse than they are.
This. They both were coming down, Bron elbow hit the floor, Bron went over the back and the foul should’ve been on him to begin with. Nothing will come of this, LeBron and Chris probably spoke after the game if there was any issue.
I mean, their arms got tangled as they were falling down CP3 would make an intentionally dirty play on Lebron of all people? Nah maybe if it was Rondo...
I don't see how you guys are seeing that as a natural move in the slightest. Maybe I'm over analyzing it, but that torso twist from CP3 had some intent behind it. I don't see any reason why he needed to rip down on Lebron's arm that hard and in that fashion.
LeBron cried like a little girl to get that call which is so damn annoying. Dude tries to act all tuff on a wide open dunk but when the smallest player on the court grabs on your arm you act like you got shot by a 50 caliber. Shortly thereafter he shoots and makes 2 free throws without a wince of pain.
Considering how close Paul and LBJ are, it would be extremely odd for Paul to purposely try to injure Lebron. I think he was perhaps just trying to hold him down out of the play, in fear Lebron would get a putback. An irresponsible move, but not dirty with the intention of hurting LBJ.
An injury doesn't need to happen for an action to be dirty. But I agree - it's not dirty. In the moment, I'm sure Paul felt his hand on the ball and either 1) pulled down so that LeBron couldn't get the ball or 2) tried to swat the ball away so that no one could get it.
Looking at it when it happened I thought it was an intended dirty play.... just being honest, but I don’t think chris ever saw that it was Lebron.... he just knew someone went over his back and he was having it..... we all know chris plays on the edge of dirty quite a bit but this wasn’t as bad as some of the things I’ve seen done to harden so whatever
It looked bad to me when I watched the game. But then I thought, "Aren't they good friends? Why would he do that?"
