After or before Harden fouled out? And dont ignore my second statement in response to your Harden vs CP3 insinuation.

 

The NBA is the only league where I feel two refs (Brothers and Foster) just don't like the Rockets.

The NFL has some bad refs to be sure, but I never feel "This guy has it out against the Texans."
The MLB has some bad umps to be sure but I never feel "This guy has it out for the Astros."

The NBA is the only league where I feel these two refs legit have something against the Rockets.

 

Oh n I forgot the phantom call on harden when rando comes across james body to try n steal n harden goes to protect n gets a foul lmao. Like what else do u suppose to do when someone reaches around ur body lmao. This was horrible

Agree to disagree. Once one admits there are corrupt ass refs, I think the argument is over.

Exactly. But as you can see some of our fanbase are too blind. This skit is becoming a trend.

 

On another note, after stewing for a while, I realized that Tucker and Green combined hit as many threes as Kenneth Faried did...on 11 more attempts.
That's not ok. We need our shooters to hit their open shots, though if this "Faried at 4" experiment continues that should lessen the burden on Tuck, which should have his shooting back to around what it was at the start of the year.

House and Shump also should be able to hit shots...but they're not here at the moment so we won't know until they're both back (if House is back at all, which I hope he will be).

As everyone has also pointed out, Scotty Foster is who we thought he was. Chris Paul's technical, according to Webber, was him accusing Foster of targeting and impartial refereeing, which I'm guessing is what D'antoni also echoed. Foster's face is eminently punchable, that's for damn sure, and his influence on the end of the game was undeniable. He should've been in jail for a while now. Alas, seems like he has some dirt on somebody, so he gets to keep doing his thing...

CP3 and Capela looked good though. Real good. And if Faried actually can learn how to hit open 3s consistently without that floppy release, that opens up a world of possibilities.

The interior defense is a huge problem that will be our undoing. Hopefully, Capella getting back to form will help but the rest of the Rockets are mostly a lost cause defending down low. I’m sick and tired of watching guys go to the rim for slams and easy buckets.

 

The more 3s they would shoot, the more phantom calls the Lakers would get until they would win.

It is obvious that it was preplanned and orchestrated. First they put two fouls on Harden from the first five minutes, and when the game gets close they throw him out.

 

I agree but this is the perfect game to do it. Browsing reddit, even Laker fans think they benefitted from the refs.

This is the perfect game to 'whine' about the refs because they have a strong case for it.

 

No, they sucked too. Im not solely blaming Harden, hes out superstar, our number one. But we can hold him accountable too.

 

What is worse is Ingram did the same move on faried minutes later and they called farid for the foul. The fix was in. The nba won’t let their golden boy Lebron miss the playoffs

 

You do know I have a profile with all my previous post... I've never mentioned lin since he was on the team 5 years ago..

So if its after harden got fouled then my statement holds water...?

 

He is getting the blame.the same old tactic used by trolls to start a Paul V Harden debate is to obvious. It is used by Lin trolls

 

Respectfully, that is a take that may apply in a lot of games where the refs were not this aggressive. I get: don't complain, beat them, make your shots.

But if one doesn't think that the refs can decide the game, then one is fooling himself.

Other than Shaq complaining about the refs, the rest of the group were strangely quiet. There was nothing to say when a game is that badly influenced.
