Anyone been to the Turkey Leg Hut? Saw it on Texas Bucket List. Would not call it cheap (by looking at website) but not expensive for the amount of food it appears you get.

Damn, their food looks really good. Damned if I would pay 15 bucks for a turkey leg though.

Drove by it once and the line looked long. Been wanting to try it just haven't gotten around to it yet.

It's crazy that I haven't been to Aladdin's. I been telling myself for years that I need to go there.

We moved here from Houston in 1980. Thanks for the list! Meant to get back to this thread earlier. I've been to a bunch of them (Top Notch, La Concina de Consuelo, Maru, El Patio, Thai Kitchen, Asia Cafe, The Tavern, Hoffbrau), but not all. Went to an upscale diner in East Austin recently when we found out Eastside Cafe had closed. The food is terrific, but it's kind of steep. The Farmacy Diner. It was originally a pharmacy, which is obvious when you go in, but has been completely remodeled inside. Great sandwiches! Haven't been for dinner. Not yet.
