So, is there a better time for another hungry and NOT cheap franchise to swoop in and offer Morey a GM job? If Morey doesn't feel supported, I can see it happening.
The Rockets should have Iman Shumpert's full bird right. The Rocks can also sign Danuel House to a multi-year deal with any left over MLE from this year if the Rockets didn't get any big buyout players.
It isn’t about not making moves to compete against Golden State this year. It’s about not committing to “winning now” while simultaneously making the Rockets worse off in the future. After this season, we’ll have fans wondering why there’s no good way to trade for the next star player that comes lose because the Rockets shed their biggest tradable contract and picks at the same time. The organization chose the worst possible path - only in order to save T money. I wouldn’t be upset if Morey and Harden looked elsewhere.
I don't want to count Tillman Fatilda's money. He can spend his money any way he wants but I won't trust this man either. This "Fatilda man" actually believed that he was telling the truth when he said " I will go over the luxury tax and pay luxury tax to but together a championship caliber guys to make a run for the championship." I bought it, when he made the statement. I won't trust him now in the aftermath of this trade deadline debacle. He is not only cheap, he can't be trusted. Nonetheless, I'm still with and for the Rockets. I still believe that Rockets will still make some noise with the collection of guys that we have. Buy out or not, if Fatilda stays true to his words, Rockets could have made out well in this trade deadline. Like I said, I will not count his money but don't insult our intelligent when you are lying but wants us to believe your lies.
okc is paying the repeater tax so this point is completely moot. especially since we are now 3 seasons away minimum from paying the repeater tax. let me repeat that -- we have not even paid one year of tax yet including this one, and tilman only fans are cheering this sorry ass b**** on for positioning us into the future while Wilt Harden is already 29, semi-washed CP3 turns 34 in a couple months, and we have scarce assets going forward to improve and even get above the tax threshold lol
The Rockets will have the full MLE next year... and the expiring deals to work with in the trade market. Also atleast 3 of their 1st round picks in the future. Not worried at all.
Great showing by LT savings tonight . I thought that with rivers out , it would be a good oppportunity for House or Ennis to step up and provide some extra energy. But then I remembered that we have LT savings instead and MDA prefers to play 8 guys or fewer anyways . Perfect synergy from coach and owner tonight and the result was an exciting high-scoring game ... just what fans love !
This thread would sting more if mike knew how to develop depth rather than running it into the ground and letting the ones he trust “figure it out” because he’s too dumb to adjust
save money for short dwarfs. Houston will lose in 1st or 2nd rounds in playoffs. Then why we sign cp3 for?
