Every game the same thing, play good and then go brain dead.

I feel like ur not seeing what the problem is in games. It’s pretty obvious too. We’re shooting good enough, and have good enough bench could use some bigs. Faried although the energy he provides he is an awful defender also he is 6-8. You bring in Capela and he fixes 95% of the problems. This guy used to get 20/20 games if anyone remembered. He shut down Rudy Gobert in the playoffs and TOWNS in round 1!!!! We are missing a big to stop other elite bigs. Capela will solve our defensive issues AND add some scoring. We will be an elite team again when he returns. I feel like Capela is the piece that will make us whole.

I also feel like if we get capella back shumpert will benefit as well. Move eric gordon back to 6th man. Nene seems to be done and should only be playing garbage time.

Faried is really bad defensively, Chris Paul isn’t playing well enough yet and the Rockets miss Capela.

The Rockets just aren’t all that good right now.

It's the story of the season. They just don't know how to play 48 minutes. The just don't have the same mindset that last year's team had. It's a shame, but it is what it is. If it hasn't changed by now then it's not going to change at all.

man we had capela earlier in the year and it was a layup line... i never watched a team play so bad defense in my entire life...this year rocket are the worse defense of all times...my only hope is they are coasting until the playoffs to avoid injuries

Capela will be the answer to defensive issues. His talent is All-Star level. If you’re a rockets fan you should know that

Hmmm. U sure? I feel like we gave more threes to teams as part of bad defending early on Bc paul was our and we didn’t have a good enough wing defender. Now since the addition of rivers, Paul returning and shump I think wing defense is fine. It’s just the paint defense which Capela will fix

I do not really understand what the adjustments that MDA works in training. We make the same mistakes again and again and again. It's ridiculous. We lost against a lottery team again.
There is no game plan, the mistakes are not corrected, we still do not know how to handle the times of a game, we close the games in a shameful way ... The irregularity of this team is irritating.

    Absolutely.

The focus level this year has been abysmal.

That's got to be on the coaches ... sure our lack of youth and athleticism makes showing up every night harder .... but still we have rookies that could give us energy that don't play .... so back on the coaches

Getting stops and grabbing rebounds also means getting easier shots so, those things also improve your offense, Clint will help with this cause Faried is just not good defensively and too small in some matchups, in this game he got literally Ryan Andersoned out there. Clint chemistry with James on pick & roll is also on another level so, yeah, can't come back soon enough.

But aside for this, in the last games we always have these periods in which we play poor defense and the offense just gets so stagnant...they last for too long and they completely overturn all the momentum.

Rockets were up 6 at halftime tonight. Wolves proceeded to go up by 9 midway through the 3rd quarter. A HUGE swing, and D'Antoni refuses to call a timeout, make an adjustment, slow the momentum, ANYTHING.

I just don't get it, man...but oh well. It is what it is.

It wasn't like they were just hot and we were cold .

We didn't have someone who could stop towns and didn't know how to play 4 on 3 on offense .

I get that towns is a tough cover when Clint is out . But for christs sake , make and adjustment when he's that hot . Either put in hartenstein to foul the **** out of him or quickly double and scramble with smalls .

We just left farried out there to get destroyed and looked clueless on offense

What is out best defensive line up with Harden?

    CP
    Harden
    Rivers/Shumpert
    Tucker
    CC

That line up against the Warriors? PG and company?

There. This is on the GM.

Um... time to acclimate? Get used to his new teammates? His new surroundings? The new expectations his team and coach have of him?

Capela Anchors the defense for the perimeter guys. When you can overplay a defender when a shot blocker is present opposed to having to play straight up with no shot blocker. The Rox are only getting hard defense from Tucker which leaves him with no legs to shoot we need Morris to establish a defense that will make you work and rebound after playing great defense

Even a healthy Capela cannot play every minute, need another back up big to provide D when Clint sits. Nene is not that anymore and Faried is limited due to size.

Hartenstein needs to step up or Rockets need to bring in another body.

But here is the crazy part... James Harden could be the BEST TWO WAY Player in the NBA if he wanted to.. He can guard centers guards and forwards but half the time he just wants to play offense ..

I hate to say it : But this season maybe a wash.
