We have moved up to the league start date in CM. I dont know if I will sim it out later today or not, but if you want to put in a game 1 lineup now is the time to do so.

When in doubt you could always ask a coach (post it here) about their rankings, or even have the assistant select the lineup. Whatever you prefer.

With a few games under the belt of the first season I updated everybodies finances and fuixtures so far. Please do not hesitate to ask for a couple other pages updated - it doesnt take much time at all. But if you dont ask you won't get.

Just over half the season has been played and the pages has been updated. The transfer window is about to open up, and if you want to sign anyone it better be in the upcoming few days.

Also managers has started to resign their players as they are getting close to be available on the 6 month rule. (players can be agree to a new team 6 months prior to their current contract expire so unless you want a vital player stolen you need to sign them to new deals).

You can sign players either in chat or request them here.

Heath, Ineed a coupl eof pages from you if possible. First can you sort my contract page by expiry date? Second can I get a stat page sorted by avg rating? I have left my team alon ebecause they have done so well. I will probably try to sign in sometimes this weekend or maybe tomorrow afternoon if I can get the game to run at work.

You already got both, just updated a game ago. The only thing they are not sorted the way you like them to be, but there shouldnt be hard to look for those with contracts expiring in 2004 anyway. As for stats those should be even more easy as not as many players have been playing.

I will update again later today to sort them as you wanted, but if you wanna look already, the information can be found at the site.

I set my rosters for the next match.

After that match please move Tronche to SB4 and Medard to DL
Also make Raddas the FL and N'Zinga goes out of the lineup.

I have a potential bid for a GK from Auxerre. PLease keep an eye on it if I get a response from them and it is accepted then offer a contract. IF it is counterd then use your best judgement. I'll bid up to 150k total (currently it is 85 plus installments and fee after 30 apps for a 110k total).

Brest continue to impress, but only in the cup where they beat yet another team to go to the semi-final. In the league they are at the moment blowing it.

    Last results in the league:

    at Bourg-Perronas 1-4
    vs Reims 2-1
    at Romorantin 2-5
at Sannois 2-3!!! Sannois only win of the season!
    vs Cherbourg 1-4

The last round dropped you from the top spot into 2nd (behind me, who jumped from 4th). It bodes for a close finish with 6 rounds remaining.

    1. Nimes 61 pts
    2. Brest 61 pts
    3. Dijon 60 pts
    4. Angouleme 59 pts
    5. Tours 58 pts
    6. Pau 56 pts
    7. Romorantin 53 pts
    8. Cannes 52 pts

    11. Wasquehal 46 pts
    14. Valenciennes 40 pts

6 teams fight for the promotion spot with 2 rounds remaining.

    1. Brest 68 +15
    2. Dijon 67 +23
    3. Nimes 67 +19
    ---------------
    4. Tours 65 +20
    5. Angouleme 64 +22
    6. Pau 64 +17

    #5 Angouleme vs #1 Brest
    #11 Beauvais vs #3 Nimes
    #2 Dijon vs #16 Bourg-Perronas
    #18 Libourne vs #6 Pau
    #4 Tours vs #13 Ajaccio

Angouleme and Pau pretty much had to win their games to stay in the hunt and Pau failed miserably at already relegated Libourne.

    Libourne vs Pau 3-2 Final

Angouleme faired better vs Brest and got the win they needed with a first half goal from Bottelin.

    Angouleme vs Brest 1-0 Final

Nimes started out red hot at Beauvais and got a 2-0 lead. Beauvais pushed back in the 2nd half and clawed one back with lots of time left on the clock. They continued pushing forward, but couldn't anything, and in the 90th minute Massolin wasted a penalty for Nimes. A few nervous minutes later and the win was saved for Nimes.

    Beauvais vs Nimes 1-2 Final

Tours went down early in the first but came back to and had a 3-1 lead with 10 minutes remaining. That was just enough to get the win as Ajaccio clawed one back in the final minute.

Tours vs GFCO Ajaccio 3-2 Final

Dijon struggled with Bourg-Perronas who took an early lead in the first half. Dijon tied it up and took a lead with 2 goals in 3 minutes in the middle of the 2nd half, but Bourg answered. A goal from Edward Dixon (his 32nd on the season) and Durand but Bourg ahead with 7 minutes remaining. Dixon scored again with 2 minutes to go, but this time in his own net! Then into injury time Laurent saved the day and win for Dijon with his goal.

    Dijon vs Bourg-Perronas 4-3 Final

This sets us up for this drama heading into the final week.

    1. Dijon 70 +24
    2. Nimes 70 +20
    3. Brest 68 +13*
    ---------------
    4. Tours 68 +21
    5. Angouleme 67 +23

Apparently Brest is ranked ahead of Tours on internal matches, but I dont know what happens in a 3+ way tie.

    The Final Round
    #3 Brest vs #16 Sete
    #14 Cherbourg vs #5 Angouleme
    #2 Nimes vs #19 Raon-l'Etape
    #6 Pau vs #4 Tours
    #12 Reims vs #1 Dijon

Only the top 3 will promote. After this round Brest will play the Cup final vs Lyon. Could Brest qualify for the UEFA cup next season?

    Dijon holds tiebreakers vs Nimes
    Nimes holds no tiebreakers
Brest holds tiebreakers vs Dijon, Nimes, Tours
Tours holds tiebreakers vs Dijon, Nimes (GD)
Angouleme holds tiebreakers vs Dijon, Nimes, Brest, Tours

I guess I (Nimes) better win my matchup our I'm doomed. And I guess the same goes for Castor (Brest) since on of the since a draw will keep none of the teams behind him out should they win.

"Zached" managers will pick up promoting teams if they can't land another job on their own.

A lot of staff has been released from all teams (including mine) as we all forgot to resign them. Some also lost some players that they had not resigned.

We will stay in the offseason for a while to let everyone have some time to prepare for the new season.
