TJ Ford reminds me of Bobby Hurley when he first came in the leauge... but shorter. (Hurley had really long arms)

They both have (had) great skills as passers, and are quick as lightning, but neither one is strong or tall enough to play the big minutes in the NBA.

Ford has the ability to break down defenses with his penetration... but I don't think he's strong enough yet to finish at the basket.

Plus, I'll take the EXPLOSIVE FINISHER any day over the quick/speedy passer.

Regardless of what personnel changes this team makes, I think J.Jackson is a keeper. He is just steady. He seems smart, makes good decisions, has a decent shot, hustles, good passer. I like him.

The paint defenses in the Western Conference are much stronger than the Eastern Conference defenses. I don't think any point guard without a consistent outside shot can prosper in the West.

7 of 15 from the floor, I'd take that anyday and you could at least wait till the game is over to try to bash Steve.

The box score suggests that Francis had a very "solid" game: 23 pts. on almost 50% shooting, 7 assists and 5 rebounds. I think he only had 2 turnovers. If he could perform at or near this statistical level every night what a difference that would make. But I didn't see or hear the game, so I don't know how things looked on the court. Ming seemed to have a weak rebounding game. J.Jackson, dependable as usual, and Mobley and Taylor had almost 20 pts. a piece. Are we back on track?

What the heck are you talking about?!!!!

    SF:
    23 points
    7-15 shooting (good shooting)
    3-6 3pt shooting (good shooting)
    6-6 Free Throws (great shooting)
5 rebounds (as many rebounds as Yao has)
    7 assists (good numbers)
    1 steal
    2 blocks
2 turnovers (very low number, compared to 7 assists)

    bashing SF?
    Pointless....

Steve usually has pretty good games against Eastern Conference opponents. It's the guys in the West especially against the top 10 teams in the West that he has problems. I think the San Antonio game next Monday should be good.
