I don't think people hate Shump for what he brings. Moreso the fact at what's happening around the NBA, and this is the trade we make. They're annoyed at ownership not Shump.

why does it matter. cf's complains so much about how the rockets need players that can play now. yet somehow late 1st or 2nd round picks in a few months is some kind of deal breaker for a rotational player that's expiring.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm if you're asking which player I prefer between Beal and Porter it's a no brainer that it's Beal. If you're asking just a straight up Gordon/Shump for Porter? Most likely no.
