By now we should all know...we're not good enough. And tweaks aren't going to work. Next season we will have $75 million invested in Harden/Paul and we'll be in the third straight season of the luxury tax if we continue as is. We simply cannot afford to do that and be facing the repeater luxury tax in 21-22 after having paid that luxury tax three straight seasons without winning a championship. So something has to give here. One of two things is going to happen. Either we are going to trade for a superstar player by tomorrow at 11 pm that makes us a legit title threat OR We are going to fold down and get out of the tax. If we do not get that third guy tomorrow we will trade Capela to get out of the tax and preserve/gain assets for future moves. Why? Because we only have there choices to get out of the tax. At least one of Capela/Ego/Knight has to go. 1. Knight has negative trade value. It will cost a pick to move him. 2. Ego has neutral trade value and he's more important to our system than Capela is. 3. Capela has the most trade value of the three players and he's the easiest to replace between him and Ego. 4. Capela's long term contract is actually a risk to our championship aspirations. You see, if we don't trade Capela.....and he ruptures an Achilles or busts a leg...and goes down for a year.....or more....we are totally screwed. We will be stuck in the tax with a team not good enough to win a chip but not bad enough to get to the lottery and with a sky high payroll. And he'll become untradeable, another boat anchor albatross. That leaves us with Ego on an expiring deal...and...four mediocre picks/house/harty/re-signed rivers(if he stays) as our trade assets. You see where this leads? Do you see reality? We simply can't go on this way. It's too risky. Morey is trading Capela. Get ready.
this dude did not just make another anti-Capela thread...stop it with this schtick already Ego is more important than Capela for this team?
LOL of course. we're now on year what with holic and his capela will be traded. maybe 10 years from now youll eventually be right. between this thread and harden should demand a trade by @LosPollosHermanos cf's threads are looking just awesome these days
Bone bone bone bone, bone, bone, bone, bone, bone Now tell me whatcha gonna do When there ain't no where to run (tell me what) (When judgment comes for you, when judgment comes for you) And whatcha gonna do When there aint no where to hide (tell me what) When judgment comes for you ('cause it's gonna come for you)
Chris Paul's contract and injuries are the risk to the aspirations. Capela is more important than Ego at this point, hate to break it to you.
@Codman said morey will trade CC if the right deal came along but also mentioned harden wants Capela in the crunch/clutch.
there's mainly only 1 person and you're in his thread. he's had this capela agenda for years now and has been so far off ever since. he's desperate at this point
