Dieng + Saric + Covington for Gordon + BK works. However I don't see them ever doing that, unless we throw in 3-4 first rounders.

I still don't see the Wolves give up Rob, at least unless they get back a great package (which is not something like one/two 1st rounders with Knight). He's basically the only good defender they have, he's locked on a team friendly contract too...with Towns he should be the only piece to keep.

Then give up the picks, and let’s go for it! The window is now, and the deadline is coming!

I'm not that familiar with his game but after watching a few interviews about him I'm excited. I hope this works out. Seems like he has a great sense of humor. Reminds me a little of Harden's humor. Tongue in cheek. Statistically exciting too. I'm in.

It's unlikely he's even available that's the problem.

The problem in Atlanta is this, You don't want to lock into your role players ahead of having your stars in place. Unless Prince is really seen as a big part of their future, his trade value is not going to likely be higher than it is now. Next year is his last cheap year before he has to be paid. So Atlanta has the option to trade him now or be ready to resign him to a contract they may not want to do as of now.

I didnt say we cant use them. I said defenders should be higher on our priority list.

I agree. I can’t even find any trade rumors regarding him. But 1 or 2 firsts would get their attention. I just don’t want to go into the playoffs with the small forwards we currently have on our roster.

Great addition. He has the height and can shoot. Perfect for the offense.

Saric was dazzling last year(his sophomore year), 15+7 in regular season, 17+7+3.5(assists) in the playoffs, not bad for a 4th option. I remember people comparing him with Capela and saying that he deserved more money than Clint, which is wrong but gives an idea of what people's expectation on him were 6 month ago. A first round pick + Chriss or TPE for Saric, would be a steal.

I am greedier than that, let's do a Gordon + 3 first round picks for Covington and Saric, then use knight + 1 first to get Burks. We save money, we become much better, so everyone is happy.

    1. Saric for TPE + 2019 1st
    2. Dieng for Knight
    3. Covington for Nene/Ennis/House and top 3 protected 2021 1st (Chriss absorbed into another team’s cap space or TPE)

    CP3/Harden/Rivers
    Harden/Gordon
    Covington/Saric/Green
    Tucker/Saric
    Capela/Dieng

Very solid team. Of course this costs Tillman money so it definitely won’t happen.

You may have to throw in a 2023 first as well if Minny thinks that highly of Covington.

I'm basically all in on any scenario that is netting Covington. Huge fan of his game. Don't think Minny has any interest in trading him.

No, the problem is that Atlanta is a horribly run franchise, so i retract everything I previously said. We can just send cash considerations and call it a day.

All bets are off with dumb franchises.
