Can @Clutch lock this thread before it gets out control and blows up and something actually happens? This is how **** starts
No you can't. You want to know who created that type of climate? WOMEN. Innocent flirting 20 years ago can turn into can cost a man his career. I agree this is ridiculous
Seriously strange question. "Do you feel as good as you look?" implies that Faried just came off an injury or is coming off an extended period of not playing - neither of which is the case. Could have just said "You played great, today. How are you feeling?" Still would be a strange thing to ask, but at least it's not completely awkward.
Credit to Faried for being a professional. You could tell by his little laugh there that he picked up on the innuendo.
It's pretty scary for you when others are given the respect you take for granted, huh? Only a whiny, grandstanding pud could conceive Michelle as a "predator" to Faried.
This! I thought I was the only one that thinks this way. The sentence before was “this is your 5th double double”. Clearly she meant to say “do you feel as good as your stats look?” Nothing to see here.
Hey, men have had to issue public apologies for asking a woman what she's wearing. Or fired for complimenting a part of her physical appearance. This was on air objectification. You can't have your cake and eat it to. Men are not allowed to complain. They would be seen as weak and bullied. But the double standard is evident, if a male reporter said that to a female he would be fired. To the guys getting defensive, there is plenty of eye candy a phone call away from taking her job. You can get a new imaginary girlfriend. But the Rockets have to nab problems like this in the bud if they want to be a 21st century organization. Donald Sterling was fired from the Clippers because he paraded his friends around locker rooms objectifying all the athletes, I really thought we were past that. I cannot deal with hypocrisy.
