    LMA himself said he was literally minutes from accepting the Rockets offer, and it was one of the hardest things he's had to say no to. But the draw of playing in SA next to his daughter (and playing for Pop) was too much. But we were actually very close to signing LMA.

    Wow. What a way to start the trade deadline season. Dallas with a robbery here, but also the domino effect of having Jordan and/or Matthews potential buyout candidates.

    Are you maybe confusing him with other people? I really don't remember this. My memory is that he said he was impressed with our offer but we weren't in the final list of choices. I thought he was considering signing with PHX.
