It's just nice to see rivals speaking well of each other. No subtle jabs. No self-promotion via faint praise of others. Just real humility. People tend to forget that you can be fiercely competitive in sports, interested in your own and your team's success, and at the same time legitimately praise your opponents, offer a hand to help them up off the ground, and give them a hug after the game. I think those are some of the best moments in sports. Good for Paul George.
He’s always been my favorite non rocket. He’s the perfect fit next to harden. 2 way guy can shoot the three and create his own shot but will play in the flow of the game. We should have went all in on PG13 last year. We really missed out on that. He’s a bigger pipe dream than AD at this point. Morey really needs to consider packaging Clint and Gordon and picks for a legit superstar. Harden really needs a true star next to him and I love Clint would hate to lose him but a star level guy is what harden needs right now he’s ready to lead us to chip if he has a true running mate. I love cp3 he was great last year but man he’s not looked good this year. I don’t know with what we’ve seen so far that he can return to even top 20 form. If he can we’re good bit right now I’m not so sure.
Respect there. IMO Paul George is kinda overrated. Idk, just never thought THAT highly of him. But this is cool. He knows, he makes HIS case on the floor. For PG to pretty much say, "yeah nah, James is the MVP" in so many words earns a legit salute from me.
i love PG. OKC is lucky to have him. I also wanted him more than lebron. YOUNGER, MORE DEFENSE ORIENTED AND WAY LESS DRAMA. And obviously easy to deal with.
PG knows whats up, and he definitely should be in the top 3 candidates for MVP. Placing b**** ass curry and Embiid ahead of him is stupid.
