Being as it came later and after the Putin version, does Russia still get money for every view or does Trump?

I want to be excited about this movie, but... I am really not excited about this movie. The space scenes look way to Green Lantern to me... in a bad way, I mean... in case there could possibly be a good way.

And I think Samuel L should fade away in this series. Just, enough already.

Samuel L Jackson's role and the space scenes are exactly what I am looking forward to most in this movie.

Okay. I'm getting the sense we should not see this movie together. :D

I feel the same way. I mean, they are entitled to their opinion and all, but I just tune that out. The problem is that there are so many sheeple that will follow the opinion of their favorite actors. In this case however, it's not Marvel studios putting out her opinion. In the end, she's just a person with an opinion.

I don't pay to listen to her talk!

    -Roscoe.

    This isn't the massage parlor!

BTW, I refuse to watch anything but the first trailer for movies. That's what people should complain about.

These trailers basically spoil the damn movies!

    She didn't say anything wrong,

The article has a guy just guessing that the movie might not do well but like Roscoe he doesn't understand it either.

Marvel doesn't disappoint. They are consistent and even when people didn't think Ant-man was gonna get it done, SURPRISE!

The universe has a loyal following and this movie will dominate all to a lot of haters chagrins. I hate it when writers create a narrative that doesn't exist. Captain Marvel is a big character in the comics and thus this movie was supposed to happen if they were going to make Infinity wars.

I don't like it either, but it doesn't really bother me. Celebrities should and can talk politics. The President is a celebrity. And you could argue the precedence was set a long time ago. Voters created the Ultron. By voting for celebrities.

I don't think Brie Larson was even quoted in the article. It's from The Ticket Booth on Forbes (Scott Mendelson) where he's arguing why "Captain Marvel" doesn't have the brand / tie-in of "Wonder Woman" and "Black Panther" etcetera etcetera, so it might not pull down the same sort of box office. The female empowerment thing is going to be mentioned when dealing with this movie, so there's no getting away from it if you read the articles.

Out of curiosity, and maybe I missed something, I looked for Larson making "political" comments......? Where?

They don't exist. Roscoe thinks talking about Female empowerment is political now.

Maybe someone, somewhere, is trying to drag down the movie and this article gets mentioned and it practically goes viral even though no one blasting it has read it much less understood it?

Celebrities are pretty low in my “political opinions take into account” pole but even if this movie wants to promote women empowerment I haven’t felt it that much... I haven’t felt that they’re shoving it down my throat.

That being said, since day one i’ve hated Brie Larson in this role. I’ll watch the movie for the tie in with endgame and to hope for a small Ronan origin story but that’s about it.

The only thing regarding press for Bree Larson, at least in the past couple of days, is be referenced in that both her and Marvel execs were in agreement for Captain Marvel not to have skimpy clothing / a skimpy suit.

Not sure where anything political is involved, regarding @Roscoe Arbuckle's claim. In the article that he posted, the author of the article disagreed with some CNBC post about how the movie is Marvel's next billion-dollar property.

Honestly, though, if Marvel ever wanted to do a one-of for its various properties, this would probably be it. It doesn't seem to be getting hype for its individuality, and is seems to only ever be mentioned as "that one movie that sets up Endgame" or "that one movie that comes out before Endgame." Everyone I know and everything I read is more hyped for Endgame and Spiderman.
