The coaches need to figure out why the Rocket shooters are all in a slump except for JJ. Mobley is in the 3 point contest. That might be a horror show for Mobley.

The whole team is playing uninspired basketball...just going through the motions and looking disinterested.

    Yao is playing wimpy...AGAIN!

No NBA player is a "loser" dude. Any one of them would laugh in your face. Even Ruben Boumtje Boumtje has more game and more money than you.

WTF is wrong with JVG? Why didn't he put Yao in at the start of 4th quarter? Now we fell behind by 19, he put Yao back in, what was he thinking?!

I'm afraid steve francis (franchise)' absence is just a small glimpse into the rockets internal problems. Why would he choose such a crucial time to tell his team they don't really matter to him? Considering the teams recent slide, and JVG's public comments about the teams charachter, it seems like a terrible time to do something so seemingly selfish. It makes me wonder what kind of turmoil is occurring behind locker room doors that the public does'nt see. I think the team is in total disarray. 3 suspended players already this season certainly can not be a good sign. And dont count on trading the franchise too easily. Now he comes with a mega-contract and alot of baggage. I dont believe any teams would part with a great deal for him. Could the Franchise be the first all-star to be released? Dont think it's impossible, remember the Keyshawn Johnson situation with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

I think Jeff is thinking when the Rockets are down by a good margin with a short amount of time to mount a comeback that the only chance they have to make up some quick points is to play a more up-tempto style and that is very diffficult to almost impossible to do with Yao lumbering up and down the court.

Then what's the point to put Yao back in when we were down by 19?
