Bad news: Harden was exposed (played to his right the whole game).

Good news: He still has room to improve. That's scary.

His handles (right hand) are on point. When he's just as good going to and finishing with his right, the only person that'll be able to stop him is him.

In other news: D'Antoni's inability or refusal to make adjustments kills the Rockets chances to be successful in the playoffs. Somebody needs to tell him 2 points are still points. When 3's aren't falling swallow that pride and mix it up some. The Rockets are too predictable.

We're 50 games in, man. Nothing's changing. This team just doesn't want it bad enough like last year.

I've accepted it. It's a shame, but it is what it is.

What I really don’t like to see is anything along the lines of “Whatever its just one game. Bad loss. Doesn’t mean anything”
Anyone saying that is just being a coward and buying time so they can enjoy more of the season for the inevitable disappointing ending. Harsh, but it’s in reference to championship talk with this team.

This means everything to me. Not focusing on the result.

First off, the roster they had out there was pathetic. They literally were missing their front court and 3 of their top 4 players including their top. I don’t mind struggling against a team where players are looking to prove something.

But the fact is, there was such a wide talent gap this game should have been figured out. The game was within reach until the end. If Mike D’antoni, James Harden and Chris Paul can’t find a way to figure out the New Orleans scrubs and adjust their game, then it’s over. Originally was going to blame D’antoni but who knows. Harden and Paul like him cuz he lets them play. But that’s how you play?

Agreed, was using his listed roster height.I stood next to him last year and he is a big human being. His hand covered covered my entire shoulder and I'm not a small guy.

CP3 is irrelevant to what the Rockets have done. Doesn't matter who's been in the lineup. The Rockets have found a way to play down to their competition nearly every time.

 

I really hope CP3 will turn the corner in time for the playoffs. I’ve seen way more indecisiveness from him then in the past. He wouldn’t hesitate to cross over pull up midrange bucket. Now he’s just looking to pass, which would be nice if he was surrounded by pure shooters but the truth is we need his scoring way more then his passing right now.

 

1st quarter there was a lot of penetration and kick outs leading to open 3s. Everyone was in rhythm coz of the penetrations. After that quarter i guess pelicans adjusted and suddenly pretty much no penetration no kick outs and just lots of bricks. Nobody was attacking the basket. Everyone was just standing on the arc

 

The Manimal can only play the 4 when with a 3 point shooting center like Hartenstein. Hope Dantoni give this young man a shot

I come back to find that they actually lost. How?!?

 

I knew this was a trap game because the pellies were gonna be pissed that AD is ditching them. We went into the game thinking they were just gonna roll over and die but this is the NBA, where everyone is competitive unless it's a late game in March and a tanking team doesn't care.

 

Exactly. Trap game and we got trapped. r/nba is palpable with Harden hate right now.
