    So I got in late and tried to catch the end of the annoying Rockets-Pelicans game on TNT and I had to mute the TV. Grant Hill is actually not bad and Jason Terry is OK but Isiah Thomas is like the most boring guy ever. It is like they took Troy Aikman and Joe Buck and combined them into one boring entity which doesn't seem possible! Seriously, outside of playing basketball, is there anything that Isiah is good at? He sucks at coaching, being a front office executive, and now announcing. I really hope that I never have to watch another Rockets game in which that guy is announcing.

    Players only is the absolute worst commentary I've ever experienced. I'm not picky with commentary, I'm very happy listening to the locals and almost all other national broadcasters... nearly all the players only commentators are absolutely terrible at their jobs. It made it very difficult to watch.

    I buy that. It doesn't mean he was a good GM either. It's like, his announcing career is stage 4 liver caner, and his GM work is AIDS. Both are bad, but I would rather have AIDS than liver cancer 99/100 times.
