Btw... we let a 6'7 SF from the Pelicans grab 16 rebounds. YIKES.

 

Welp...they do literally every time...

 

You could put a 6' 7" mannequin in the lane and have better protection than when Manimal was on the bench.

 

If this loss serves any practical purpose, it's that it might be the bellows that stokes the fire under Darnell Marley's ass.

Our team has definite, specific needs. Let's hope they're met in the next 10 days or so.

 

Rockets clearly were looking past the Pelicans and didn't wake up until it was way, way too late.

It seems to me that the most reliable gameplan opponents can bring against the Rockets is to just put out the tallest lineup you can and jam the paint. The Rockets are too small to score over big guys in the paint and for a team that relies so heavily on 3's, they're consistently inconsistent at making them. On the end, you just drop the ball in the hoop over their stubby little bodies and crush them on the rebounds both ways.

 

I'm thinking he could.

 

Complaining about offense in a game where neither team could get stops.

 

When do the excuses stop for CP3? I love the guy and what he brings to this team but he honestly just looks really average out there and has all season, even when he was mildly healthy.

 

Everyone was bad tonight but I expected cp3 to comeback looking fresher he looks very old on the court hopefully he just coasting but he has not looked good so far

 

The scary reality is that we weren't taking it easy tonight. This is just how our defense looks when another team knows how to exploit it. The nets and the bucks made us look exactly the same. We literally have no defense for aggressive drives to the basket.

 

no player addition can help this team.. its just the mentality.. and i blame harden cause hes the leader

 

When you take twice as many shots as everyone else and are shooting worse than all but Tucker, you do have to take some heat. Star or not.

 

I think Hartenstein would certainly help the rebounding and play with energy. Nene is done. The problem is Mike.

He's still moping over the fact that MDA and Biglydick won't let him play with his friend, Lil' Melo.

 

I seem to see Jimmy playing D on a big in the paint quite frequently....nobody is asking PJ to chip in 30+ pts. to boot like Jimmy. He damn sure didn't affect many shots tonight.

Hartenstein should really play over Nene at this point, if Nene can't play more than 8/10 (bad) minutes per game a couple of times per week, i don't even know what's the point in throwing him out there, just let him rest on the bench and try to develop the young guy.
