Lol please, he's a good defender but this is just nonsense.

 

CP has the worst contact in the league cause of his lack of productivity, injuries and now he doesn’t even look like the second best player on this team anymore

 

I’m sure this won’t be a popular take...but Harden was a big reason we lost today...too many missed shots. The “MVP” shouldn’t lose to a team that doesn’t have a single all star playing. He just took the day off...that’s a loser mentality.

 

I’d like a shooting guard that can from the free-throw line

 

Need firepower from the bench.

 

We’re 50 games in

They haven’t cared about games like this all year. Nothing is changing. They’re going to continue to embarrass themselves.

 

We’ve been inconsistent unfortunately... especially against weaker competition for some reason.

 

Hoping the team can trade for a much needed backup Center that can rebound and defend the paint.

 

When you're a crappy defensive team, every game is a potential loss. That's just the reality. Especially if you're going to shoot 55+ threes and make less than 20 like we did tonight.

Only silver lining is Morey is once again reminded that DEFENSE should be the priority for trades/buy outs.

This is also yet another loss I'm giving credit to Danuel House's absence. If we're in win-now mode, Morey needs to just convert his contract already. If he wants to stay in Houston he's likely to give us a little discount in the summer anyway.

 

Terrible loss. James' head wasn't there from the beginning it seems. He could probably use a game off anyways.

Life goes on. Playoffs will happen if no new significant injuries. Beating GS is still a longshot.

 

We aren’t the same team without Capela. He’s easily our second best player at this point. At least until CP3 turns it on in the playoffs.

We need more size and rebounding. We have been badly out-rebounded in every single game since CC went down.

We can’t ignore this problem.

 

D'Antoni deserves some blame here, too.

 

That and they slept walked through the first three weeks of the season.

Holiday didn't stop Harden, he just had the help from the double team all night. It's not hard to do if you have the help. The problem we have is MDA has no clue what to do if Harden is having an off shooting night.

We lost the game because our paint defense.

 

rockets finishing 4th or 5th seed.

only thing is to hope to avoid the warriors until the WCF.

 

This loss made me pretty upset. One of the worst of the season.

But is there really a reason for Clutchfans to be so bipolar? It doesn't need to be Championship Contenders when you win, Horrible Team, Fire Everyone when you lose. Sometimes, this **** happens. The Rockets have been playing with fire too much in the last couple of games and when you let games be close, you have less control over the outcome. Currently, the Rockets aren't doing a good job of putting their foot onto weak teams' throats. I'm hoping that will change, even if I haven't seen signs of it coming yet.

Now there's a pretty nasty back-to-back coming up. The Rockets will need to show their fortitude and tenacity and try to blow out the Nuggets and the Jazz.

 

Cousins is gonna have fun playing us if our defense is this bad when we play the Warriors. He's probably drooling at the thought of it.

 

I like what PJ brings on the defensive end but his cold streaks and lack of size for rebounding is hurting us more then helping. When Clint comes back I say we try Faried at the 4. I know Faried is not a 3 pt shooter but neither is PJ lol.
