Now I really want to see how the team is going to run the offense w/ no Francis. Maybe Mark Jackson can take over as point and install some passing on this team and flow Mobley and Yao into the offense a bit smoother....

i doubt mark jackson will do anything but just worsen the team at a starting postion. He is 38 years old, and is freakn old. You saw what happend against the nets. Whenever steve came out of the game, and mj came in, the momentum swung over to the nets.

Francis agent said he had to attend to some personal family matter. With that statement, they have just called out Jeff Van Gundy as a liar who said Francis chose to attend the superbowl and a fool who just suspended him because he thought he went to the superbowl when he really had to tend to some urgent family matters. man, that can't sit well with Van Gundy and help Steve's circumstances.
I'm not gonna bother defending Francis, he made a mistake and is now paying for it. But I'm not gonna just stand by while people bash Rudy. Did all of you Rudy bashers go to all of his practices and talk to Rudy and watch how he handled his job? Just because he didn't like to embarass his players in the media doesn't mean he acted like a big softy behind closed doors. I remember distinctly reading a few times after bad Rocket's losses last year, Yao talking about how he'd never heard so many expletives and what not. And for people wanting to trade Francis, jeeze, this is the perfect time right, when his stock is absolutely plummeting. You guys are dreaming if you think we can put a package together for McGrady.
You're usually slightly pro-Francis, but lately, have been pretty supportive. Have you changed your mind, or are you just responding to the bandwagon against Steve and trying to moderate the overall opinion here? This was awfully immature of Steve. But at the same time, it's not like he did anything truly awful.
If this is true, Steve should have called JVG right away. I mean, right away. If it isn't----and confirmation is not yet forthcoming----then it just makes Francis look even worse. I mean, the coincidence is amazing, isn't it? Super Bowl and a family emergency?
Is there any proof of this agent saying it was a family emergency? I don't understand why somebody would just post that without a link.
