Ennis is fine, he's a minimum player backup who was expected by all to give minimum player level production and is doing just that, arguably slightly better so far than the average minimum guy. It's not his fault that he has to start or that the Rockets are a thin team. Ideally there should be a player better for the role in front of him, but realistically that player is not available on the Rockets roster. Still, he's an acceptable enough 5th starter. He's shooting 48/41 which is about as good as you can expect from him. He started off overly foul prone, but he's adjusted decently enough over his last 5-6 games. He's no stopper or defensive savant, he's not Luc or Ariza on defense, but he's acceptable enough.
We can do better at starting st. Wouldn’t mind him as the backup sf but we need a better starting at. Wouldn’t mind a better starting pf either
The other option is getting a starting PF and moving Tucker to SF, but either way, just getting another forward that can start is the goal for the Rockets.
Ennis should practice more shooting and try to drink milk powder to build his muscles. He is only bench level
