Mitchell was better than most rookies, but he has not improved at anything. I was hoping he would improve his efficiency and passing. Part of that could be Snyder's insistence on starting Gobert, Favors and Rubio all 3 of whom are not spreading the floor enough.

That's pretty much every pg today. If Mitchell gets a bit better at playmaking, he can switch to full time pg and the size won't be much of an issue.

Just saying that Mitchell would look better on the Kings (I don't know how you could even argue against that), that's not a knock on Fox or anything, he just has a very complementing surrounding cast.

Still reminds me of a young Dwyane Wade. I know Dwade is one the best sg’s to ever do it and Mitchell has a long long ways to go but the similarities are there.

lulz, Rubio gets injured and Jazz go on a 6 game winning streak.

They play better, not worse, without Rubio because they have better spacing, and Rubio isn't good enough for Snyder to change his offense to a ball control PnR one. The motion works better without Rubio.

    lol guys

Jazz had the worst schedule in the league and of course Mitchell had some struggles but now, when they have the easiest schedule in the league he has a monster January

Similar to OKC, who had the easiest schedule in the league and were tied with GS at some point and now has almost zero chances for HCA, because the have the worst schedule in the league and Paul George can't play the whole season at the same level as he usually does

It's funny how unbalanced some of these schedules are...

I know these guys need to be confident, but he was a tad cocky during the playoffs with us. May not be a bad thing for his career to get a little humility this year.

He is a good up and coming star. He is probably having a few off games this year. He will be alright

He is good, and a two-way player at that. Top 10 isn't an unrealistic ceiling given his age. I think his stats have been depressed a bit by playing with other ball handlers - Rubio, and too a much lesser extent Jingles. Since Rubio went down Mitchell has done well running the show and the stats have come up

On the season he has a 16.2 PER... I would however like to see the Jazz use him more at PG going forward.

They need to throw away Ricky Rubio.

That would be a hard trade with Conley making $30M.

Still impressive he was able to knock off OKC during the playoffs last year.

He's been averaging around 22-25 PER lately. It'll get up to 20 for the season soon, I'm sure. I think his sophomore slump is over.
