Would I consider a future Hall of Famer a star?

    Yes, yes I would.

Something happened to this guy. This is not just a shooting slump. He'll have a good game every once in awhile, but to me he has crossed into unreliable territory. It's too bad we weren't able to flip him earlier in the year when he still had decent value. Not sure you can trade him anymore without throwing in material draft picks to get a good player back.

Why are we talking about trusting EG? He is our 4th best player on the team, maybe 5th.

Gotta move on from this guy.

Should’ve moved him two years ago.

Agree. People should relax a little bit on EGO -- his eFG% historically dips when he's having serious injury issues (missing games type of injury issues). If he can get right, (maybe that's a big if), I think he'll start shooting straight.

We almost never lose when he plays well.

He may very well be the 4th or 5th best player on the team as it stands now but it would be foolish to think that his play doesn't play a big role in whether or not we win.

We won like 9 of 10 without him IIRC.

Oh you mean over the last few weeks when James was playing out of his mind?

I really don't think that's sustainable especially come playoff time.

It's obviously not sustainable, but we did it for 9 out of 10 games. Rivers did a great Gordon impression, going super hot for a few games then super cold for a few.

I think he's a very good player, but not critical anymore. Without him we still have the best backcourt rotation in the NBA. I think we would be wise to trade him if we could net a rotation quality SF.

3GOD needs to find some inner peace. He seems constantly angry, frustrated, and he's terrible it seems with that mindset. Even when he does somethign amazing he doesn't even enjoy it, it looks like he tells himself "finally, you scrub." He's got to just play and have some fun for once! Like he did when he was the 3pt champ!

You can say that about Capela / Tucker / Rivers as well. Generally, if a scoring option plays well along with Harden, we will almost never lose.

The Lakers and knicks think so.

That Trier kid is pretty good.

I can't really trust to see if Eric Gordon is having fun again or not.

First game back the Rockets lose a close game to the Nets. 2 games later the Rockets get blown out by the Sixers

On the other hand he sent the game to OT against the Lakers and closed the game out with clutch free throws. He also had the game winning 3 and steal against the Knicks. He's a vet, but I'm sure moments like those are the ones you dream of.

    I'd say he's day-to-day, so I don't trust him yet.
