I'm very unhappy to say that I can't trust EG anymore. I believe his sore knee has something to do with it. I don't think he can recover to last year's level. I think he will have some good games like the Lakers one, but it won't be enough.
What makes stars, stars, is their consistency. Role players are up and down. To improve the margin for error you need stars. Morey knows this, and that is why he is always looking for stars.
he is inconsistent.... if he wasnt we couldnt afford him. capella is the third "star" on this team. gordon is our 4th best player the warriors 4th best player went 10/10 from 3 and scored 44 points last night.
EG is decently clutch. He’s the ultimate role player it’s ashame he’s so inconsistent. Easily could be an all star. EG is a love-hate relationship, I’m really glad we have him, he’s a huge asset and the only players outside of Harden and Paul that can create a play and he’s decent passing abilities aswell. Although I’m open to the idea of trading him for a better player such as Butler or etc. Then he will play phenomenal and I’ll second guess doing so. He has all the skills and abilities and fun to watch.

He's still a very good player for his contract, as well as his fit on the team. But he should also be considered a trade asset and by no means untouchable.
I always thought he was going to get traded at some point, pretty sure he was also in the offer Morey did to Indiana for George...regardless, i still like Gordon overall, but this season he's been frustrating.
If he has proven one thing...its that he can raise his level of play come playoff time... its the rivers and greens of the world we have to worry about. Sometimes I wonder.... does the majority of clutchfans even watch and remember the games? Or they just read stuff...and watch espn... and come on here and BS?
