    How's the lottery work with the expansion team? Aren't they stuck with the No. 7 or 8 pick, instead of getting the number #1 pick (like football expansion teams), or a bunch of ping pong balls? If so, I would not trade Francis for a #7 pick in a weak draft.

    Charlotte wants to tie up $11.3m of their entire $30m salary cap in one player leaving them $20m for 11 roster spots and the Rockets want to lose half of their $7m trade exception when moving Francis's contract drops them below the cap...for the luxury of a draft pick. Let's just overlook the fact that no trades can occur after the Feb trade deadline until July...after the expansion draft meaning Charlotte made the pick already.

    I'm so glad this thread starter isn't managing a business for me.

    My idea:

    Clutch BBS trades: thunder_james (0 good posts in 7 posts)
    Clutch BBS receives: nothing
    Change in team outlook: better average post quality.

    Ignore list trades: nothing
    Ignore list receives: thunder_james (0 good posts in 7 posts)
    Change in team outlook: more crappy posters on the list.

    TRADE ACCEPTED

    Due to Clutch BBS and Ignore list being over the cap, the 15% trade rule is invoked. thunder_james had to have no more than 15 % of his posts being good for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

    If I were the manager or the head coach, I'd rather trade Cat for Milwaukee's Michael Redd or Desmond Mason than exchange SF with other PGs. Michael Redd is a real Shooter!!!

    What if we trade Cat and JJ for Micheal Redd? And I don't agree with you that Desmond Mason is not as good as Cat!!!

    We wanna get Redd!!! Let Dawson and JVG do it!!!
