Yante Maten (undersized think Chuck Hayes) —> 2 way Heat

Yes they are locked in with another team but still very obtainable

 

Seem to be nice prospects, but no way does D’Antoni play these guys. If we are not going to trade for Dedmond, and Lopez wants to go to GS, I think Willie Reed would be our best “cheap” option. If we could sucker Phoenix into giving up Holmes that would work as well.

At this point I don’t know what Morey can or will do. Maybe we should give up on trying to a wing and just go after a 4/5 who can grab a rebound, catch lobs, shoot and play D. We need another big, and starting caliber 3 if we want to beat GS, but if we can’t grab a freaking rebound or protect the rim, this season may be doomed.

For the first time this season I fear missing the playoffs. We need another big man NOW.

 

Willie Reed suffered a season-ending shoulder injury on Wednesday. Reed was playing for Utah's G-League squad, but they'll be waiving him now that he's done for the year, and he has a long recovery ahead of him.

So Knight/Chriss and 1st to ATL for Dedmon, JLin. Then we trade Melo and attach a 2nd at the deadline to some super protected 2nd rounder which will never be conveyed

 

Or Morey isn't competent enough to make effective trades these days. Remember that offseason Suns trade? Why are all of you guys immediately blaming it on Fertitta?
