Gotta say, even tho we lost, I'm enjoying the ride Jimmy is taking us on. It's gonna be all right when all the bodies are back!

He's like 35 and been injury prone his entire career.

Really the offense was running through rivers and how did we fare? We lost because the ball was out of hardens hands. Who is this other offense you’re talking about?

Dude. The entire point of my post is that we should give Harden the ball MORE. We ran the offense through Austin Rivers and LOST because Harden didn't have the ball. He didn't have the ball because he wouldn't fight to create separation and get the ball until the shot clock was winding down.

He's carrying this team by himself, I understand that. This thread isn't meant to disparage Harden's efforts because he's the best player in the world. The lack of communication and late-game coaching adaptations is INEXCUSABLE, and it will cost us in the playoffs if we don't put an end to it now.

Westbrook 2017 threw a wrench in the standard ways people look at voting for mvp now. Harden def has a shot

You're right. He'll come back for 6 or 8 games and find another way to get his old ass injured.

if only we could get players like chris paul, eric Gordon and clint capela before the playoffs start. I think that may address some things no?

Cleverly disguised "Harden is fat, even if he breaks records right and left while doing things that make us drool" thread.

Harden is incredible. I've never seen anything like this. He's dropping 30, 40, 50 point games routinely. The last thing we should be worried about is James Harden.

I'm much more concerned about CP3, EG, and Capela.

Ok, not saying you are necessarily wrong.

    We all saw that.

BUT, name another superstar right now that can do what he is doing. Just appreacite and be grateful. If there was CP along side him it would have been different. He was exhausted.

Nobody can do what he does. Not even close.

If Harden can get the ball with 18 left on the clock instead of 6 or 8, the team has more time to get off a good shot. Even if they double him, we'd have time to swing the ball and force the defense to scramble. Our late-game execution was awful, and we didn't use a timeout until there was ONE second left in the game and we were down by 3. By that time it was too late.

He played 45 minutes. Like you said, we've seen this multiple times, especially in the playoffs. It's because Harden doesn't have a stamina or a Jordan or Kobe.

Then again, that's why CP3 is here and that helped a lot in last year's playoffs except CP3 is so damn injury prone, you can't even rely on him anymore.

Blame Mike. He didn't call up the right defensive schemes to win the game. Harden did everything he could to lead a group of bums for the win. This game is probably the worst he has had to play with and yet he keeps them in the game. Mike literally had him sitting for less than a minute at the end of the third then threw him back in because they cannot function without him. Also blame Morey. If he doesn't do something to help him this deadline I have to believe we look for someone else.

I think Demarre is still with Harden right now with Spencer preparing to double.

Dun think we'd miss the playoffs though because some role players always step up to the plate.

The playoffs are a whole other matter once we get there. Just more inconsistencies.
