Love Nene but if he can play 10 minutes per game and one game per week he should stay as a third center on the team, not as the second.
And another thing that I noticed, James Harden was consistently making the correct basketball plays in the entire overtime period. Passing to the open corner three, finding the best route out of a double-team...he's a really f*cking amazing player, and every game he's still evolving and becoming better. I want these injuries to stop and the team to step up because it gives him a break, and lessens his workload in the regular season. We're seeing someone play at a level that is so far above the rest of the league that he may as well be a god amongst men. But even a god can't do it all by himself in a team sport. SO! My optimistic outlook is this: the injuries will heal. Morey will do something D'antoni will learn to trust again. And we'll still have the best player in all of basketball leading the way.
Gary was playing good D/rebounding too. You were right.. sure he pulled him for his missed 3's. MDA hates defense.
Well we were just a couple of free throws away from sealing the deal in the end. Even if Dinwoody made that shot. Winnable, but they lost composure.
A lot of reason why we lost tbh, coach was awful, i don't even know where to start...missed a lot of fts, Gordon got hurt again, guys got tired in the end, DinWiddie morphed into T-Mac...we were up by like 8 points with a couple of minutes to go two times though...
I'm going to say it...we lost this game because of greed...D House and his agent! We need front court, and House chose to chase $$$. And he will falter...it always happens that way. A little advice to House... A Little Bit Of Something Is Better Than A Whole Lot Of Nothing!
But someone was blaming Morey. LOL I didn't see Daryl miss ANY shots this game. Nor did he take a tire iron to Gordon's knee, nor broke Clint's thumb, nor did he slash CP's hammy, nor bruised Brandon Knight's knee. But somehow this mess is all HIS fault and he's supposed to fix it with change from the couch cushions
And Danuel House's rebounding and defensive familiarity with the system could have made a difference too. Honestly, in the grand scheme of things this game shouldn't matter too much but I'm just so bummed at Harden's efforts being thrown to the wayside while also being completely out of his control.
I like Gerald Green but he’s defense is so bad. Always looks lost and slow on rotations. And his basketball iq is very low. But MDA loves OFFENSE FIRST.
