Do you have stats to backup you tightness-of-ass assertion?

No wait, I bet you do messure the tightness of anyones ass who will let you so I guess you ARE an expert.

Yes, No, No, No, No, No.

Having a better year, having an equal/less of a year, having less of a year, having an equal year, having an equal year, hasn't played enough or else I'd vote Yes for R.A. too.

You know, I could make a case that Z in Cleveland is actually more deserving than Wallace, Kidd and Redd should be there instead of Iverson and McGrady, and Artest deserves to go over Vince Carter. So what?

If the fans selected an All-Star that was just a ridiculous selection (Greg Ostertag, etc.), I could see your point. Short of that, who cares?????

    Geez.

I don't know. It would be good for our "allstars" to mix in some interview remarks that recognize the other deserving talents.

Fan Allstars can go two ways. The refs can recognize the player has value to the league and give that guy a little more allstar benefit in future games. That's the positive. On the other side, a player can earn himself a backlash or a b****-slapping in the game, or a bad rep for not getting time or doing anything to merit positive comparative attention. Remember Kobe waving Karl Malone off on the iso? There's a negative from being there. Getting 2 minutes in the game because the coach doesn't resepect you doesn't resonate well. Getting in the game and getting roundly outplayed makes you look bad.

I hope our boys can make some nice plays. There's certainly other players and coaches who'd like to see them fall flat on their faces.

Luckily, Adelman's pretty good about that. We'll see. Can't say about the other players.

Well, one can look at it like this..

Steve should have been an All-Star in 00-01, but it just so happens he is going this year when probably he should'nt

So basically, he is going to the All-Star game this season because of what he did in the first half of the 00-01 season. All things even out in the end.

there, I figured it out. :)

Mike Bibby does act like a robot. I don't even like watching him play as much as Steve. This all-star game selection does count for a lot though when Hall of Fame selections happen.

Who cares? SF was voted by fans to be on the ASG. As long as it is by the rule, he deserves it. Now if you think somebody else should be on, then vote for that person or change the rule.

Don't any of you realize how good for the orginization it is having 2 players representing at the allstar game? You get a huge national audience paying attention to representatives of your team which draws interest.
