    None of the players mentioned are worth giving up picks. Of the three, Desmond carries the most value since CC is out 4-6 weeks, but only if we can unload Nene, Ennis, and or Chriss

    I continually see folks declining trades to upgrade this year because of a first rounder or two. THIS IS NUTS. HARDEN IS AT HIS PEAK. MOREY CONSISTENTLY FINDS 2ND ROUNDERS OR UNDRAFTEDS AS GOOD AS THE LATE 20'S PICK WE WILL GET.

    That would be great, but we can't bet our lives on "probably". If we don't get a big forward (and especially now that House is gone), we are wasting our time in the playoffs.

    For the record, I doubt they buy him out. He's a good locker room guy and they are not tanking.

    The difference between their salaries is $3,369,000 …. double that for the tax its $6,738,000 …. Do you really see Tilman paying that after all the cost cutting measures we've seen since he took over ?
    Sure they could add other salary but why would ATL take it when they are trying to cut salary to begin with , kinda counter productive from their standpoint ? They probably don't want Knights deal , they'd prefer one that ended this season.

    it is possible to send out more than you take back.

    however, my guess is a smaller move like chriss/melo/2nd(s) for KOQ, or melo/2nd for jeff green for example.
