    It's hard not to make one decent offseason new player signing. I think Morey has done it. (Not counting signings during the season)

    All I know is this lack of depth going to start costing wins.
    2 or 3 game skid can knock them out of playoffs.
    We have 11 games till trade deadline. Morey tends to wait till last minute to make deals in order to get best possible deal. I don't think HOU can afford to wait. This year needs to be a win now at all costs. Trade every pick HOU has to give HOU its next Championship. Morey needs to jump in the fire with both feet.

    harden has showed he can keep the team afloat under injury circumstances. 11 games is hardly enough to force morey to do something he wouldn't do normally. There's still a ton of season left and remember other teams have to win also, not just the rockets. The rockets getting in the playoffs healthy, especially as a lower seed is terrible news for the rest the league

    That's not necessarily "Morey" though. That's true in most sports, and negotiations in general. The closer you get to the deadline, the more people's leverage changes. That changes the value of the assets and tips the scales which triggers trades actually happening, instead of people just waiting to see what else floats by.

    We will have to be patient for another 10-11 days I suppose.

    Yeap. That's why I'm not terribly worried about House yet. Would like to have him but if he wants his agent to screw him over we'll just keep on getting other g-leaguers to carry the team.
