With the emergence of the young guys on the Hawks, maybe the Rockets can get Dedmon as a backup center? Rockets need a good rebounder and rim protector. Especially with Cap out.

As of this moment House won’t sign...

    House, Knight and SRP
    For
    WCS
The Kings aren’t going to sign him and they need and can pay House. With Capela out WCS is the next best thing, imo. He will be a rental but very timely.

—> Use House the same way as Melton to move the unmovable

Other than his past sexual assault charge, Reed fits the bill of Clint replacement.

    Why didn't Miami keep him?

"Reed, who signed a one-year league minimum deal $1.5 million with the Clippers this summer after the Heat drafted rookie Bam Adebayo and went in another direction with its frontcourt, filed the claim in part because Christian Dawkins, one of the 10 people arrested on federal corruption charges Tuesday, advised Reed to turn down a preliminary three-year, $15 million deal by the Heat early in the free-agency juncture with the promise of a bigger pay day elsewhere"

Watching this team, I still hope for @Codman 's prediction of JaMychal Green.

Long, strong, quick PF that can rebound the hell out of the ball and knock down the three. Career 36% from 3. Career 9.8 rebounds PER36. We just need someone that can gobble up rebounds while keeping the defense honest in the corners, and he fits the bill and Memphis sucks.

Chriss & garbage for JaMychal gets it done. Throw in a pick If need be.

Gordon, Knight, Chriss and a 1st for Lin, Bazemore and Dedmon

    CP/Lin
    Harden/Rivers
    Bazemore/Green
    Tucker/Clark
    Capela/Dedmon

Already a much improved bench just by that.

Just read an article that suggested our number one target as a big man should be Enes Kanter....lmao! They threw in Gasol, dedmon, and Lopez too on the list.

I normally don't like the big blockbuster trade mid-season but I think Morey has to gamble and go all in. What Harden is doing is unprecedented in the last 20 years and he himself is on a championship run. With his abilities and to go along with his confidence (all time high imo) you have to go for it!

Atlanta does seem to be the likeliest target. It’s going to have to be a team in the East. Chicago New York and Cleveland are what I would think are the other teams willing to give up something. I just don’t like their pieces. Problem is no team in the West is going to deal with us besides Phoenix and maybe Sacramento but the pieces don’t make sense for them. And every team in the East I didn’t mention will be in contention to make the playoffs or a deep playoff run by Feb 7th; so they’ll be looking to add not subtract.

I don’t believe there is a deal out there that would make sense for both sides that involves moving EG, so yeah, look for those East teams. But also with regards to Atlanta both Bazemore and Dedmon are dealing with injuries.

There’s nothing on Atlanta I’m really interested in or willing to give up a FRP for, but I get it: Dedmon and Bazemore are playable.

I think you can lump Memphis into the seller category with the rest of the teams you mentioned. 1-9 in their last 10. The Gasol situation will be worth keeping an eye on. Also, I’d kill to have JaMychal Green on this team. Would be a fantastic 4/5 option to help reduce CC and Tuck’s workload.

Also have a feeling Charlotte, Detroit, Orlando and Washington (if they ever accept reality) could all be sellers.

Looking back... we should have traded harden for the hawks pick, let CP3 walk, trade the ****ing farm for draft picks, sign capella, draft Doncic

Let Doncic and Capella have the next 15 years together with cap space until Doncic gets super max

    God damnit Morey

You’re absolutely right on Memphis. Slipped my mind.
Those East teams you listed at the end should be sellers too I guess, but Charlotte and Washington are most definitely not taking back Knight, they have too many bad contracts of their own; and to be honest neither should Orlando and Detroit. Atlanta makes sense because they’re probably thinking realistically, they won’t be a playoff team next year either, so Knight won’t break them. Memphis can say the same, I just don’t see how a team could handle Parsons and Knight both on the roster, and I don’t see a buyout before Feb 7th agreed upon.
    Just my opinion.
