This is a question for anyone who has been downtown this week? Is there parking available? Is it better to drive or take a bus?

I was wondering the same thing. I'm going downtown tonight to party on Maine St. I'm not sure where the best place to park is though.

Bigtexxx will be partying on Main street tonight as well. I think there's some circulator bus that's running. Somebody at work mentioned that. You may want to check the Chronicle.

Either park and ride or the metro rail is your best bet. Its CRAZY down there!

Park at the Randalls in midtown and take a cab for $5.

We are probably going to ride the metrorail from my friends apartment in midtown.

I went to the Main Event or whatever it is, saw Bob Schneider, nice setup they have.

Had zero problems with parking, but I am guessing the earlier rain may have scared some people away.

Last night on the news they said the rail was stopping at Jefferson because of pedestrian traffic. Midtown is the best place to park.

OMFG Mike Wilbon just called the convention center the George F. Brown Convention Center.

He had it right the other day.

Oh, and watch SportsCenter right now because they're going to do Houston's best sports moments.

How old do you have to be to attend the Main event, and SuperBash?

I am only 20 years old. Do you have to be 21?

The F thing is an inside joke on Pardon the Interruption - they call the athletes Yao F. Ming, Donovan F. McNabb, etc.

I am heading down to Houston tomorow to take part in some of the festivities. I wish I could have made it to the Rockets games, but when I tried to buy tickets a few days ago they were all sold out.

Main street was PACKED last night. I mean at times you couldn't even MOVE in the street, it was shoulder to shoulder packed. There must have been over 100,000 people in the street at around 10pm. It was really an unreal atmosphere with all the video projections on the buildings, the search lights, all the live music and the booze. I've never seen anything like that in Houston. Main street was really looking awesome.

I parked a block away from Main St at a parking meter I was lucky to find. It was very packed. There was a red carpet at the citibank with nfl players. I dont watch footbal so i have no idea who they were. Basically on main street your bound to find somebody.

Two nights in a row. I am exhausted now. I am ready for this weekend to be over just so I can give my body a break!
