Harden could have been the hero if he just drove to the basket and did what was working. Instead...he was more focused on the streak continuing. He didn't care about the game.
Harden was visibly tired out there and MDA opted to still start the 4th with him on the floor instead of giving him his regular rest. Green struggling off the bench really hurt too because the rest of the bench can't be counted on for much scoring. Losses like this hurt especially after digging a hole early in the season.
Offense is variable, defense is constant. We can get away with bad defense at home because of better shooting. But on the road, defense has to be good to win.
this is where a coach with some common sense should sit harden to the side and tell him to stop shooting so many 3's when he was 1/14 sad thing is harden has a post game but morey tells him he can't use it.
I can't believe people are blaming Harden and Capela when we have $55 mil worth of players sitting on their a##...smh (Paul, Gordon, & Nene)
Well, Rivers and House missed wide open 3's too. I just wish harden was more of a facilitator than trying to get his 3 off.
This loss angers me so much, simply because we threw the game away. We was so comfortable in the 4th quarter and played like complete trash with 4 minutes to go. This is what happens when you don't have no paint defense or any quality strength in depth. Yeah, Rivers has been good..... but he's not going to carry you.
This loss really sucks cause the Magic are trash and they've been trash for all the game, that's why we were up even by playing a meh game...but in the end we somehow decided to roll a carpet and invite them like "hey guys, here's the banquet, have fun, it's all free"... It was also important to take a game over Denver or Portland and welp...gifted a win to the Magic...
Who you want us to blame? You have to play with the cards you have been dealt.. no one cares about who was injured when they tally up the records. Rockets have shown they can play with anyone even with all those guys on the bench..
They've been trash talking Harden for years.... and he's had bad shooting games. The thing with Harden is he normally comes back better than ever.
Rockets will blow them out n all will be forgotten. You watched the game wasnt it obvious to u when harden couldnt hit his 3s he was trying to really not make the right plays to extend his time further. Cause they actually was rollingbwith just austin n james on the bench like up 10. Then they brought james back in for no other reason but to get his points. I know it sounds horrible but like i said during the dog days of the nba u try to get records just to have a lil fun. Im not upset about it. James has earn the right to do that every once in awhile.
nah . . . this is one of those "not even mad" losses. You can't win them all, Harden is probably never gonna for 1 for 17 from three ever again, it just is what it is. Laugh it off, move on, let's beat the Grizz tomorrow night
