Sounds like you probably have a nasty sprain, probably several in fact. The good news is you should be in line for some decent compensation. Do your PT religiously and follow their orders. They can really be lifesavers. I should know, I married one. Get well, OP. This stuff is never fun.
Yes, I did get a Personal Injury attorney. Turns out the paralegal who got me started is an ex-student of mine.
Luckily, All X-rays showed negative results or bone breaks. Doc said definite strain with possible micro tears. He's going to reevaluate after a week of therapy and decide if I need MRI's on the area. I am getting around better after a few days of therapy. Still very painful, but i can crutch around on it at least. Here's what it looks like this morning.
Good that the doc didn't feel the need for an immediate MRI. I was concerned you might have completely torn it off based on your comments but there is certainly some tearing that happened, it's just to what extent. Good luck with the rehab.
First day back with the kids and I'm struggling to get through the day. One more class and its off to PT for me. However, my last class is going to get the worn out version of the lesson.
So what are you going to name your new bowling alley? Splits? Jk. Hope it turns out well and good luck on that PT.
Its people like this as the reason why people pay more than they should for a game of bowling. In the end, the recurring customers pay for these mistakes not the business. I would bet you're uncoordinated in real life but blame the sidewalk/floor when you fall down. I'm sick of people who call an attorney when it was partially their fault.
How was it partially my fault? Please explain that to me. They left oil in the approach lane and because of their negligence, I'm dealing with a torn hamstring? I wore their shoes, used their bowling balls, didn't cross the foul line, and am not a novice bowler. Don't be pissed at me for your life choices that make a game of bowling unaffordable to you.
Read the title of this thread. Then read it again once more. It's apparent you're the clumsy f*** here. I have had only one significant injury in my lifetime and it was playing basketball. I landed on someone's foot and had a grade 3 ankle sprain. I was hurting like hell at work. Should I have instantly called an attorney and sic him on that random dude? Or should I have sued the owner of the gym/basketball court? Take some responsibility for your actions. That Danny Glover pic says it all.... you're too old (and probably too out of shape) to be playing games. I stopped playing ball as much as I should have after my ankle sprain and have learned my lesson. Have you learned anything yet?
This has to be a troll post right lol. Spraining your ankle while playing basketball is not the same as hurting yourself on a WET floor that's not supposed to be wet lmao.
Aren't you just a pleasant little f*** head? I'm betting the real story is that some 6-yr old crossed you over and you fell. The fact that you think your little tweak on a playground is the same as FT getting injured due to gross incompetence by a business says more about you than anyone else.
