Harden will be a great "foundational" player. Was so wrong, he will end up being one of the best that wore a Rockets uniform.

Let's just say defense was not his strong suit.

i thought Shandon Anderson was a potential star who just needed more time to develop.

I thought Moochie Norris would live up to that contract.

I thought Parsons would be a solid player, but injuries took their toll. I wasn't a big fan of the CP3 acquisition. There was no doubt that last year his contribution was critical, but the jury is still out. I thought DMo and VonWafer were going to be stars.

I thought that Sam Dekker would turn into a white(r) version of Portland-era Nicolas Batum.

I thought the 15-16 Heat could make the finals.

I thought DMo could revert back to 2014-15 form if we signed him.

I thought Chris Paul would age like John Stockton despite having no where near the durability.

EDIT: Prepare for my pre-season Hartenstien takes (actually contributing off the bench this year and turning into a stretch-5 counterpart for Clint long term) to join this list if he can't hold his own as a backup center next year at age 21 like Clint did in 15-16.

My worst opinion definitely was when I was certain that we had a third young star in Eddie Griffin whereas in reality we had none...

And, please, let's not talk about all the highlights of Melo I watched this year following the signing, imagining him hitting 3 after 3 against Donkey in the WCF

He showed he could drive and finish at the rim in Philly. I thought he would gradually improve in Houston and become a good role player for us.

Based on what's gone down with the Rockets and the T'Wolves respectively the last few years, a really bad basketball take of mine was wanting Les and Morey to hire Thibs to replace JB. Granted, Thibs had been very successful in Chicago while D'Antoni had underachieved in NY and been a disaster in LA, but it turned out I was way off on that one.

I thought KJ McDaniels would be a stud.

I thought D Mo would be a stud.

I strongly believed that Oscar Torres would be a 20ppg type player.

I was pretty disappointed when we drafted Yao.

I got in the elevator a couple weeks ago at Toyota Center and somebody with the team I'd never met before got in as well. He took one look at my media credential, smiled and said, "So you would've taken Harold Miner over Robert Horry, huh?"

Fess up, guys. We ALL believed that TJones and DMo would be our future cornerstones at the 4 spot. Turned out that both dudes played in China in their prime.

DMo STILL plays in China, Jones washed out of China and is playing at a YMCA somewhere now.

That said, I would hope people to have a worse miss than that if they have been fans for long enough. If that's your worst miss, you've done a good job.
